I have never been a fan of Ranveer. I find him hyperactive, annoying, with no idea of personal space. But even though I often want to punch him in the face, I have no problems with his nude photoshoot.

For me, power to people to feel comfortable with their bodies to show it off. Some people work very hard to sculpt their bodies. They should be able to show it off. And even if their body is not perfect, if you have the confidence why not.

If people dislike nudes altogether. Their prerogative. As long as it is across the board. But what galls me is hypocrisy when people will criticize Ranveer but be fine if it was their faves or foreign stars. Or worse those who are OK with Ranveer's nudes but will shame women who even show a bit of cleavage.
