Why don't parents pay for acting, dancing and diction classes? Meri beti actor banegi to class me bhejo, acting is not hereditary.

IAS parents ka coaching ke liye fee dena = right

IAS parents ka connections use karna = Wrong

In this scenario you might feel as you did right as a parent. But to others it is not because of you and your selfish move made other deserving person suffer...

Nepotism reached in entertainment industry to this selfish extent that they donot hesitate to destroy others opportunity or career.

I am not supporting what some do like planting gossip to drive down someone's popularity. Those are dirty tricks. When a parent or friend with influence does it... yeah, hugely unethical and immoral. There are other moves like booking up cinema halls and not letting other movies release, etc.

And I agree Bollywood does pull a lot of these tricks.

Unfortunately, what's happened after Kangana made that statement is even normal parent/family friend helping adult child is now called unethical. The accusations went to crazy heights after Sushant's death.

KJo is supposed to be making movies, spending MILLIONS, to deliberately sabotage outsider actors. Arrey, besides his elitism, the one thing most evident about the man is his love for money. 😆 He quite shamelessly worships at the altar of success.

Kiara Advani technically is an insider. I'm sure she used Saeed Mirza and Juhi Chawla's names to connect with filmmakers. But her success is 100% her own. Yeah, maybe Sania or Tripti might have gotten those chances because they are better actresses. So should Juhi not have helped Kiara?

Hrithik Roshan is a nepo story, too. Rakesh could've made a superstar out of some outsider instead of his own son. He continues to make movies with Hrithik even after flops. Should the family instead offer them to Siddhanth? Why?

Katrina used Salman to get movies. Alia uses KJo. How is the former better than the latter? Networking is a part of life for most working people.

All I'm saying is everything and anything related to family helping each other is not condemnable. In fact, it's quite normal and even expected. Perhaps unfair, but that's life. You've got to play the cards you're dealt.

Maybe we should limit condemnation for actual tricks which could destroy livelihoods like not letting a film release at all. Or limiting screens. Or spreading rumors (not simply trying to put yourself in a better light like KJo vs Karthik).

But when comes to giving all his hard earned property, once he and his wife dies all his property will go to temple.

When his wife and others asked he simply said i worked hard to reach where i am. I am a self made man. And as my responsibility i gave the best education and manners to my son, now it is his turn to go into the world prove himself and earn himself.

I know the story looks unrealistic but true. Such father's do exist in this generation also. He literally wrote everything to the temple... I cannot reveal more details, sorry....

Whenever i read nepo discuss i remember him 🤓

Such people are few and far between. I'm not even sure that's all good. Most of the men and women we call great because of their contribution to society make lousy partners and parents. Gandhiji for one. If I'm not mistaken, Gautama Buddha.

Not saying be completely selfish. But take care of your own first AND help out others as much as you can.

IAS is a govt title. Influencing govt decisions is against the law. Not the same as private enterprise.

Example of how parents spendi their money on their kids is right using connections to get ahead in career is wrong. if its wrong for an IAS to use connections for their kids its wrong for you to use your connections for your kids

IAS being government title repercussions will be higher

Apni dukan me apne kids ko hi rakhenge lekin unko bhi bachpan se training milti hai aisa nahi ki Mera bacha hai dukan ko aag laga de

Itna kya defend karna

You're only 100% wrong. Influencing government decisions is a crime punishable by law. Influencing (with legit legal means) private decisions is not a crime in India or in most democratic countries.

Oh bhai don't deflect, Nepotism ko itna kya defend karna? Basic principle of it was compared

You can use your money for your kids but using your connections is wrong, ab uska repercussions varies with the degree of wrong agar government me wrong to jail and termination and agar apne baap ki shop me hai to kuch punishment nahi other than shop ka satyanash due to incompetency

Wrong analogy....Of course in a Govt. job and anywhere if its not your own money ..if you are pushing your kid is wrong and like HMR said...it is a crime.....
