I went to watch this movie yesterday and really enjoyed it!
It wasn't as funny as Good Newz and Bhool Bhulaiya 2, but it did have a lot of emotion along with it's jokes. It gives you a lot to wonder about. One of those thought provoking movies. It reminded me of Thappad, though it wasn't as heavy.
The dialogues were really deep and they stick with you. I think every married person would relate to them.
"Rishta tootne ki koi ek wajah nahi hoti. Bohat si adhoori laraiyon ki thakaan hoti hai."
There were more dialogues too like about how a relationship only goes forward and gets stronger when you put effort and hard work into it, and that a marriage needs love and compromises, but where there is no trust or respect then that relationship has no future.
I liked the pace throughout the movie. There was no dragging. I loved how it started with their childhood and they grew up during the "Nain Ta Heere" song
There are parts that make you laugh, and then there are parts where you want to cry for these characters.
I loved the songs of the movie, even though most of them are copied just like the script.😆 My favourite songs were, Nain Ta Heere (So happy to see Guru Randhawa singing for a movie), Rok Leyy and Jaise Sawan.
Anil Kapoor stole the show for me! His acting was the best. He really suits these types of comedy roles.

Some things which were not convincing for me:
1. Meera's sudden change of heart. She was ready to break another woman's house, but when Bhim comes to her, all of a sudden she's not even interested to give the relationship a chance anymore.
2. Kukoo's sudden change of heart during the courtroom scene. Though I wouldn't say it's not convincing, but I found his realization and apology very sudden and abrupt. There was no build-up to it.
3. The ending. Though some parts were left open ended, during the last scene I thought there will be a twist where it's revealed that Bhim was faking his affair all along and he had been planning this with Geeta just to make Kukoo and Naina reconcile, that twist would've been awesome but it never happened.😆
You guys probably figured out by my long essay how invested I got in this movie.😆 Can someone tell me though why the Ik Mulakaat song was scrapped? I'm curious.
