Haan ji. I mean it obviously has a few flaws and customary Dharma clichés but overall, it's so much fun and pushes you to introspect about the line between love and marriage sustaining. I feel like the humor is well-incorporated without being insensitive, even though the topic addressed is considered morbid. Also, all performances are great - Varun is soooo cute (and he cries like a dream, I felt like crying each time he did lmao), Kiara is gorgeous, Anil Kapoor is fabulous as always, Maniesh Paul is incredible and Prajakta is so natural. However, the star for me was Neetu Kapoor though, she has such an adorable character ❤️

Watch it with your friends and have a blast :D

Oh and it has great songs! Rangisari is so beautiful ❤️

Namaste Everyonee!

Recently your girl got a new addition in her streaming collection. Being an Indian living in Canada, I really miss my childhood of binge-watching all the Indian shows and movies. Quite excited, as I recently got access to Disney Plus Hotstar Canada.

Can you guys recommend me your favourite shows and movies to watch here?

I went to watch this movie yesterday and really enjoyed it!

It wasn't as funny as Good Newz and Bhool Bhulaiya 2, but it did have a lot of emotion along with it's jokes. It gives you a lot to wonder about. One of those thought provoking movies. It reminded me of Thappad, though it wasn't as heavy.

The dialogues were really deep and they stick with you. I think every married person would relate to them.

"Rishta tootne ki koi ek wajah nahi hoti. Bohat si adhoori laraiyon ki thakaan hoti hai."

There were more dialogues too like about how a relationship only goes forward and gets stronger when you put effort and hard work into it, and that a marriage needs love and compromises, but where there is no trust or respect then that relationship has no future.

I liked the pace throughout the movie. There was no dragging. I loved how it started with their childhood and they grew up during the "Nain Ta Heere" song

There are parts that make you laugh, and then there are parts where you want to cry for these characters.

I loved the songs of the movie, even though most of them are copied just like the script.😆 My favourite songs were, Nain Ta Heere (So happy to see Guru Randhawa singing for a movie), Rok Leyy and Jaise Sawan.

Anil Kapoor stole the show for me! His acting was the best. He really suits these types of comedy roles.

SPOILERS AHEAD....READ AT YOUR OWN RISK

Some things which were not convincing for me:

1. Meera's sudden change of heart. She was ready to break another woman's house, but when Bhim comes to her, all of a sudden she's not even interested to give the relationship a chance anymore.

2. Kukoo's sudden change of heart during the courtroom scene. Though I wouldn't say it's not convincing, but I found his realization and apology very sudden and abrupt. There was no build-up to it.

3. The ending. Though some parts were left open ended, during the last scene I thought there will be a twist where it's revealed that Bhim was faking his affair all along and he had been planning this with Geeta just to make Kukoo and Naina reconcile, that twist would've been awesome but it never happened.😆

You guys probably figured out by my long essay how invested I got in this movie.😆 Can someone tell me though why the Ik Mulakaat song was scrapped? I'm curious.

He introduced the SOTY trio as a ninja scheme of great ROI😆 while Varun & Aloo frequently shelled out money churner his dearest Sid mal never gave a single Hit to him and was giving 2-3 Cr openers pre-pandemic I guess Kjo also knows ki Sid is too aged & talentless to happen now isliye is restricting him to OTT, ab Varun ke bas ka bhi nahi raha kuch, he's putting alot of effort to make Sid Chaturvedi happen but seems fruitless, same with Ishaan Khatter, going by all his cryptic statements & indirects throughout the BB2 promotions Kartik will definitely not be working with him anytime soon, though Ranveer is there but even his worth is heavily relying on Rohit Shetty n SLB's next (as per usual😆)

The less one talks about the actresses of Dharma's "talent pool" the better, Kiara is decent n popular though. On the nepo front only Ibrahim Ali Khan seems to hold some excitement, so wouldn't be surprised if his debut happens sooner than later😆

no current young actor has scaled up in stardom the way salman, aamir, srk and even hrithik did

not even ranbir and ranveer and now there is a vaccum

Jugjugg Jeeyo Shows Good Growth On Saturday

Jugjugg Jeeyo has shown good growth on day two as it goes up in the 40% range to collect around 12-12.25 crore nett. The Saturday growth is among the highest from the films released post the pandemic if not highest taking out The Kashmir Files. Obviously it would have been better if the growth was more but maybe the 60% plus growth pre pandemic is now maybe 40%. It could be that this 40% level is now an excellent jump on Saturday but only time will tell as more and more films release.

The growth is better in many places which did not open well yesterday though these places still remain al low levels. The biggest plus for the film is Gujarat which is showing a huge jump of 65-70% which gives the film hope. If a mass market was going to come on side for the film it was going to be Gujarat due to the comedy factor but the film needs another big jump on Sunday here if it is to have a chance of a good run in Gujarat. Sundays are normally very strong in Gujarat so Jugjugg Jeeyo could see another solid push.

Delhi NCR which was good on Friday grew further on Saturday with collections on par with the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on Saturday in NCR The Saturday growth was always likely as it is a film which caters to multiplexes in the bigger centres and that has come in very well and maybe even more than expected. The bigger test will be Sunday as the bigger metro multiplexes are slow on Sunday evening so other multiplexes have to come on board for the film to have a good jump on Sunday. The film does not need to repeat the Saturday growth on Sunday but it must not go under 20% if the film is to get the Monday hold it needs to succeed.

The two day business of the film is 20.5-21 crore nett range and the film has a good chance of recording weekend numbers of 35 crore nett plus which is not great but not bad either. It can actually be called good comparing most films releases post the pendemic. The plus will be the weekend trajectory if it gets to the 35 crore nett plus mark.

If it was any other film, they would have said that the growth percentage is high, but not enough for the below average start. KJo pays well. Success party any day now. 😆
