What does Bhool Bhulaiya's success mean for Kartik?

Not a die-hard fan of Kartik but I don't think anyone else could've carried Akki's legacy forward in Bhool Bhulaiya franchise. Karthik was apt for this role and I am actually happy for him.

As an actor, he obviously has a long way to go. But Bhool Bhulaiya's success should open new doors for him.

He is already being bracketed with other 'young' actors (like Ranveer/Ayushman/Varun/Shahid/Ranbir) who're all actually senior to him and have strong connections in the film industry (except Ayushman).

I hope Kartik works on impr👍🏼oving his craft first, and chooses the right scripts because that's really the key to success these days.

With Sushant gone, people are kind of having a soft corner for him right now. I hope he milks it in his favor and doesn't ruin it by becoming an entitled brat like Kangana.

Directors are also willing to take risk with him and trying new pairings with him. I mean he has already worked with Sara, Ananya, Kiara, Nushrat, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Bhumi, Mrunal and Alaya F. 👍🏼

Too bad Nushrat is facing tough competition, otherwise she and Kartik make an interesting onscreen pair. We haven't had a hit onscreen Jodi since Varun-Alia.

He should be focused on his career like SRK and avoid distractions like happened with sara's case. He was insulted by kareena in KWK.

Sushant name was linked with Ankita, kriti, Rhea sara etc. Somewhere I believe that these things emotionally broke him. There was news that he broke with Ankita because his PR said that link ups would boost his popularity. He did suicide fews days after Ankita got engaged and he had break up with rhea. May be he was regretting loosing his long time gf and hence took the big step.

Opposite was case with SRK who faced ups and downs had links up with Juhi and priyanka but was always committed to his wife and family who worked as his support. One of the reasons behind his popularity is that ppl love his family man image.

No one can ever become a vile person like Kangu! Kangu has the courage to do it only due to her strong political connections.

Kartik is a very humble and down to earth guy (I can say that from personal experience).

Yes, SRK was in a league of his own. He was very versatile, and worked with a lot of directors, actors and managed to make a brand out of himself by the time DDLJ rolled out. After that, there was no looking back.

His onscreen image was also very family-friendly post DDLJ.👍🏼

Kartik has the support of the audience right now, and BB's success only validates that.

He definitely needs to stay away from the controversies now, as he needs to maintain an image.

I don’t know what BB2 success specifically means for Kartik long term as far as image and genre goes. Yes I’m sure he’ll get more offers in comedy but I don’t think the door for drama is closed for him. He actually got good reviews for Dhamaka didn’t he?

Here’s what I do know. If he gives a couple of more hits and big openers are like BB2 KJo will forget all about their fights and offer him a couple of movies 😆

Come out of comfort zone and try something new, work on his acting, he was terrible in Dhamaka and does same type of comedy movies, with his background and an opportunity like the time and his movie being hit under these circumstances, he can do really well

What kjo did by taking out that press release was vile. At that time it seemed his career was going to be over. So I'm happy that he is succeeding despite that despicable kjo

I don't know what it means but the way the crowd cheered for him in the movie makes me think he has the potential to be the next big thing.

I love the way he shut up during the whole KJo drama and his PR released harmless "Kartik breaks internet" articles instead 😆 Super smart move and made people like him more. The other thing about him is that he has the cutest doggy. Seriously, how can you dislike someone who has a doggy named katori?
