I happened to catch up with this series on Voot and much to my surprise it turned out to be pretty decent and layered. The cinematography and locations were picturesque. Storyline had heft as well although at some points it does feel like things drag.
Have never seen Gaurav Arora's work before but he looked dishy and acted quite well. Aamna looked stunning as usual (bouyyy is she a stunner in a saree!!!!) and has her moments. They shared this oozing chemistry which I did not expect to see at all when I started watching the series.
A big surprise package of the show is actress Pratibha Ratna who plays Aamna's daughter Rene. She is such a natural and her character so spunky, you instantly connect. It was also nice seeing the mother-daughter duo's scenes together (the casting is absolutely on point in that sense)
Weirdly so didn't think much of Kunal Karan Kapoor. The actress who plays his gf was pretty good though (I think I last remember seeing her in the show Dil Sambhal Ja Zara) Oh and Suchitra Pillai is there as well but gets lil to do.
All in all I felt the series is def worth checking out once, if not for anything else solely for the oomph and pizzazz that Aamna Sharif brings to her role and the rather sexy chemistry between her and Gaurav. 😳
