what does a high esr around 54 and MPV ie 11.4

Suggest.

Crp is 1.8.

Wbc is normal.

Others r normal.

Earlier esr and mpv were both normal.

No fever..no headache..

Just some numbness here and there.

Vitamin B , d normal

I think these people may be able to help..

Hi mate, all investigative results have to be seen in the clinical context and my suggestion would be to go see your g.p or the doctor who ordered these tests.

I don't really know much about MVP, but ESR is a marker of inflammation which can go up with a fair few disease processes. With that said it can go up with other non illness related conditions like ageing, obesity , female sex so clinical context is very important where you see a doctor who actually examines you.

I did the test on my own...was having on off numbness.

But will b going to a gp this weekend. Just was having sleepless night seeing this results..
