So Flop-Upp is held up for a bit?
I trust nothing...it seems to me that ekta was not really ready to deliver the garbage, 16 celebs being announced yet only a few confirmed infamous wackos, a lot of hype and hot stinky gas with over-actor & desperation kween kangana doing gringe 60s style little videos, but no substance.
The real-reality show is that they tried like heck to get on the Gangubai bandwagon and used it to ride on it's coat tail, like kangana always does when she has a flop to release, she NEEDS to use other people's names, as on her own she is nothing, but like everything that is fake, it dissipated.
So bottom line:
ekta ain't ready, let's see what develops and let's hope that if they really did steal the idea that the real content creator gets justice, maybe ekta can hire him or pay him off...if they don't scare him or intimidate him that is, or maybe the powers that be, will use their influence yet again to ignore copyrights laws and favor their poster child of corruption.
Anything can happen kangana is down for all kinds of sleeze.

The legal issue doesn’t seem false to me though the jail concept is no breakthrough idea this can happen. So how can they go ahead with the show if there is a court order?

No the jail concept is not original, just like BB, talent, reality, dance, soaps etc... or a thousand other shows that get produced all over the world using a concept made popular in another country, the brake offs and the copies in many languages are bound to happen because it is natural that people want to watch in the language they are comfortable with. Truth be told there is very little that is original in this world because the human experience lends itself to repeat, with new generations discovering something "new" to them but that has been around for a long time. The only thing that can be original in a tale or concept is not the concept itself but the delivery of it, that is where copyright comes in, example: you cannot copyright a recipe that has salt, onions, potatoes... because no one can copyright those items, but you can claim the recipe as yours when you describe a way of making it in your own words and in particular if you make a video or own images of the process, then if someone uses those that is infringement.Originally posted by: priya185

Love or romances are also good examples, tales have been told millions of times so it is not as you put it breakthrough, yet romances are made because Love is not the message the delivery is.
Maybe they are so lazy that they copied this guys work verbatim, the court must of found something so grossly obvious that they ruled for a stay.
My point is that finding that they ripped off someone's hard work is not a surprise, I believe it, because of the track record of both ekta and kangana, however what I also know for a fact is that after the initial blabbering it will be swept under the rug, the content creator will get shafted or bought off and ekta will produce her show and claim originality, because in India rules are bent to favor corruption and money & everyone accepts it. Both women have done it openly and blatantly before and the judicial & the public accept it. It is just fact that consistently ethics are voided. That is why kangana and people like her are so proactive in wanting Twitter, Hollywood and many other information venues banned, to keep people ignorant and feed them lies as their original work...
Just for the record I can tell you it is heartbreaking and demoralizing to the point of annihilation when hard work is stolen.
By the way Priya185 for what it's worth I want to tell you I appreciate and look forward to reading what you post, just like I enjoy all those who are active on the forum and give their opinion with conviction, I may not always agree with them, but contributing is always worthy or otherwise there would be nothing to come in here for. News can be gotten anywhere, opinions not.
