Art is subjective, but most can tell the difference between an average student's drawing and a Ravi Varma/Monet/take your pick.

I'd suggest you take a look at regional cinema.

Nobody is comparing him to Ravi varma of actors. Nobody ever said that he is better actor than say amitabh bachan , kamaal hasan, etc. Ranbir still has a long way too go he is just starting in comparison to all these biggies. But yes he has alot of potential. Who can somebody reach to that calibre . An average art student can reach calibre of ravi varma someday. That s not impossible.

True, he can reach. But the original post called him a complete actor. When there are actual other actors who have proven themselves over and over, this label becomes worthless when applied to those who have a long way to go.

TBH, half the time I don't get whether such posts are meant to get people to bash Ranbir. I remember that Ranbir vs. Raj Kapoor post.

Most of them are to get him bashed 😆

Not this one probably.

But ranbir is best of actor of his generation. Which is kinda true. I mean he certainly best among all his contemporaries.

Kumbalangi Nights.

Great Indian Kitchen

Uyare (it did a much better job of doing an engaging movie about acid attack victims than Deepika's silly Chappak)

I don't know if you watched Sairat (Marathi version of Dhadak)

Vikram Vedha in Tamil

96 (Tamil)

There are so many. These were just the ones I remembered off the top of my head

ETA: If you prefer lighter - Premam, North 24 Katham

That is not a very high bar😆. I will admit out of that pool, only he seems to have potential to become something more than a BW hero.

Haven't seen Uyare but agree with all the others. Although Sairat was the original and Dhadak was the Hindi version of it 😊 and what a brilliant film it was.

Also want to add Malayalam film Joji to the list.

I concur. I also think the idea of taking such a long break between movies has backfired for him. A great talent is being wasted.

No No, it's not the same thing.

I love Ranbir as an artist.

To me, Hrithiku is the art and an artist both. I'm in awe of him!
