Netflix subscription rate is high compared to other OTTs..even after cutting it down its still high..the kind of shows on the platform don't appeal to the larger Indian audience..most r not watchable with family..so audience is limited to the young gen who doesn't stay in a joint family..even if u have shared or multiple user accounts the admin knows what u r watching 😃

And honestly most of the shows r embarrassing to watch with parents or kids

Netflix seems to be waking up with the recent rate cuts and buying more regional content. Most of their original shows seems to be focused on the multiplex crowd and the NRIs. Also they seem very keen on female empowerment and friendship. Amazon on the otherhand is more diversified and has cracked the code of keeping everyone happy. Amazon also offers the added benefits of Prime Shopping which is hard to beat.

Kudos to those who make shows on female empowerment and friendship..

Though wonder how many women find a sense of empowerment in using forced cringy n abusive language...aisi situation hai ki jisme sahi me kisi par itna guess ho ki gaali dene ka, bhadaas nikalne ka mann kare to theek hai..like in Jab We Met..otherwise who even uses them in every other sentence😕
