par 270 crores budget kaise hua iska
na vfx hai na action film na koi bade stars, ranveer deepika toh khud produce kar rahe the toh budget itta jada kaise ho gaya
83 is an entertaining film
not like chhapak which did not appeal to the masses
deepika must be getting money from endorsements like adidas so I doubt she will be 'bankrupt'
83 has 5-6 producers not just deepika

oh really? Deepika's PR team must have missed that memo while plastering THE producer's face everywhere pre-release.

deepika is a bigger name than the other actors, she has more followers than all the other actors in the movie

I doubt she put any money into it. Besides Anushka, I don't think any of the women are real producers. They add their name to 10 others or join with big companies. They get the producer credit for the sake of prestige or a small profit percent. They don't lose anything.
83 had producers like Reliance and Phantom.
She probably produced like 1% of it, just to get her name on the credits

it sounds like a pretty undeniable offer, to get the credit of a producer without actually investing like a real producer. I wouldn't fault anyone for taking it but when you are so overconfident about the movie's turnout, and start worshipping your producing skills after investing 1% and latching on to the rest of the actual producers, that looks just plain comical.
Had the movie done well, we woulda been hearing how Deepika, the business mogul, with a sharp antenna on audience demands, movie scripts and production skills ... is an unstoppable force, who has conquered the world of cinema from every possible aspect and blah blah blah, not from others but herself.😆

Sharp antenna se yaad aaya Alia used to claim she had that sharp antenna to discredit Kjo's contribution, till Kalank, Sadak happened.
