I reiterate my gut feeling…I think Alia knows exactly what she is doing and is playing her cards right. I also used to think of her as a bit naïve and simple minded, like Sonam or DP, but she is not. She NEVER wears her heart on her sleeve, everything she says is calculated and properly branded never got involved in dating scandals (and was living totally under the radar pre RK even while dating Sid). She had eyed RK for years and managed to have him, she knows everything about his ways but is clearly ok because she’s probably having her fun and has actually no intention of marrying him. They may really be very similar in wanting fun vs marriage.

Not long ago, I saw some quote from RK on Twitter saying he was planning to marry in 2022?

If we go by the image of both individuals, then these two are unlikely to even date, forget marriage.

Alia is still young and has few more years to be a top actress. Marriage would affect her career. I don't know if she wants that. She seems to be competitive.

Ranbir's whole playboy image would go for a toss of he marries mediocre looking Alia after dating Deepika and Katrina.

The whole relationship looks arranged by families. In Bollywood arranged marriages are really uncommon. On the other hand, this marriage would be a perfect compromise for both Ranbir and Alia.

Ranbir gets to continue his relationship with Ayan and do extra-marital affairs while Alia plays the beard happily because she got the Kapoor bahu tag. Neetu is also happy after getting a daughter-in-law of her choice.

Only if Alia was more beautiful, it would've been a lot more easier to sell this whole thing.

I also think that if Ranbir doesn't marry Alia, it's unlikely that he would ever marry anyone in his lifetime.
