Just, I don't feel myself, nothing feels authentic atm, except IF and my sleep!

(Okay, I know this, my laziness...unless, I get rid of this, I am not going to feel me...Yeah, even in this topic....this has taken over my everything!!! )

Are you aspiring to be an author?

During teen and youthful days, I used to be upfront and honest in my views/thoughts but those were mispercieved as being outspoken.

So as one grows older learnt to ignore/avoid and restrain the true thoughts. Not everyone needs to get your valuable advice.😆

Tough question I know, but would love some real, raw, and honest answers.

I don't know what you mean by authenticity going out of fashion. Care to elaborate? 😆

I think it's mostly teenagers who go an extra mile just to blend in the crowd cuz they wanna be just as cool as their friends and don't want anything jeopardizing their social status. A fully grown adult hung up on that kind of silliness means they're probably insecure without a strong sense of self.... and I personally find that unimpressive and average ish.

I've always been attracted to the quirky turkey in the room for that reason. 😆 Cuz they are honest, confident enough to carry themselves the way they want, not scared to upset a few if they must, assert themselves with people no matter who they are, and they also make the most loyal friends who have your back cuz they choose their friends wisely.

If you can handle the rough edges such as them calling you out on your crap and not putting their fake face on at all times just to not offend you, they make the best friends. In that sense, I value authenticity. Which begs the question--am I authentic ? I try. I try my best to show up as my authentic self as well...... it takes work to unlearn people pleasing tendencies and that's been work in progress.

I hope that made sense cuz that was honesty from the most authentic core of my being. 😆

I fit in, but don't fit in too. Depends. I don't mind going out of my comfort zone, if the person is worth it.

I have never been a people's-pleaser person - So never have I tried to change myself to fit in the crowd. I always knew I am what I am and stick to that no matter how people react around me!

After 83 weeks of eating steak I don’t think my friend suggesting me some lobster and me trying it means being inauthentic. If it does quite frankly being authentic sounds like close minded ness

Would you agree kitty ? Or am I making it too big a deal ?

I have a lot to say so it's better not to say anything at all. But I've never followed the crowd that's for sure.
