What's so special about Ranbir Kapoor as a person?

Not asking as an actor because he is indeed talented.

But what is so special about Ranbir Kapoor that he usually has best of girls falling for him, his GFs keep getting younger and younger and are hardly over him, usually go to extra lengths to meet or please his family, win over his mom and sister and do gestures such as tattooing his name on neck or wearing rings of his initials or lucky numbers to flaunt love for him?

Is it purely due to his Kapoor name and heritage? Or his looks or 'charm', personal 'charisma'?

I have rarely seen girls fall head over heels in love with someone or openly flaunt their passionate love for him or even fight with the media for him or start trying to please family of man even before man declares intention of marriage the way girls have done for Ranbir.

He usually gets the top actresses, professional, high achieving women as his new GFs.

He plays hard to get. Clingy women like that

Where all of this is getting him if he is going to be constantly miserable and will end up marrying the choice of his mother when he is almost 40 years old?

Because even though Salman also gets best looking and younger GFs, but they do not go to extra lengths to show how head over heels they are in love with him nor remain obsessed with him long after break up the way Ranbir's GFs refer to him or cannot get over him.

Makes me really curious what he does to make women behave like that...

Apart from Deepika, I haven't seen any of his exes obsess about him. And even with Deepika, I think she fakes it for attention. Her forever-heartbroken image got her a lot of female fans who relate to her. She also knew keeping up a good relationship means she can continue working with him.

And honestly, it's not hard to date actresses if you're a semi-successful actor. Ranbir is no exception. Ajay Devgan, ugly and charmless, dated Karishma, Raveena, Kajol and god knows who else. Every nepo-baby seems to be into Kartik Aryan. Ranveer Singh got to date Anushka and Deepika, even though he has one of the most annoying personalities ever. Vicky Kaushal got THE Katrina Kaif.

As long as the guy is semi-successful and making good money and from the industry, they can date top actresses. It's not that hard.

I do feel bad foe him and his GFs that they have to deal with an over posessive mother/potential MIL like Neetu Singh. Neetu has become even more posessive of her kids after death of Rishi Kapoor. I have my sympathies for any woman who marries Ranbir because it will be some hardwork to balance life with such a posessive, controlling, interfering, over protective MIL like Neetu.

Oh yeah! I forgot about obsession actresses had for Ajay Devgan in 90s even though that man had no looks nor belonged to a famous family like Kapoors. The way Raveena and Karishma publicly fought over him, is something not seen earlier or even later. Kajol also used to wear a special ring he gifted her years before their marriage.

I kind of understood obsession Parveen and Rekha had for Amitabh because he was tall, had a deep baritone, belonged to an elite literary, well networked family, was well educated and is known to be a gentleman atleast in public and was the biggest superstar of his time. In that era actresses were also more traditional minded in their attachment or need for a man compared to today's women.

But obsession for Ajay Devgan never made sense for me. Nor did these modern girls wearing tattoos and rings for RK or still obsessed with him, despite often being more successful than him in the same profession. I mean there have been times when Deepika and Alia were having better run at box office and won critical acclaim and awards ore in comparison to Ranbir. Or Katrina was also doing better at BO than Ranbir. Still they clung to him and craved approval of his family like he was a prize to compete for.

well people who have met him real life says that he is polite well behaved makes you feel comfortable and is very attentive and these are people who met for him short while so i am sure he is way better with his closed ones

the thing is everyone on internet specially IF has this weird tendency to make opinions about people they have never met they think they are very smart and body language experts so they have panned ranbir is this horrible monster who predates on innocent abhla female actresses but fan accounts are totally different he seems to be down to earth well behaved fellow
