I enjoyed Mohabbatein.

I enjoyed Mohabbatein a lot.

I enjoyed all the love stories, the visuals, the songs, the cringy dialogues, I loved everything. (Even Uday Chopra and his red lips, can you imagine!)

Most importantly, I loved Jimmy☺️ (and his love story with Preety) the most.

Even Shahrukh's stupid cringe inducing love classes. The fact that we never see the students doing some actual studying or learning in the Gurukul. Lol

The movie was some 4 hours long but at the end I was left wanting for more. I have no shame in admitting. I think it's a great movie.

I love that movie! It's one of the rare childhood movies that still holds up and I don't die from cringe when I watch it (pretending Uday wasn't a pervert and creep and Jimmy's character didn't have major issues for hurting himself daily). It's fun to share it with the non-Indian people in my life. They all loved it and love the songs. It's still one of my go to playlists to get lost it. Every song in the movie is beautiful.

I loved the movie as well. Though I was super pissed/devastated that even in this film, SRK and Aish had a tragic story, I tried to desperately find solace in the fact that he still had her ghost as a companion. But the internet is a fucked up world, trying to have me read ‘theories’ that suggest Aish was not a ghost but a figment of his imagination.

Now that’s just rude.

Also. I have rewatched this scene 150 times. Decided to re-watch it again because I like to make myself cry it seems. I hate me. 🙂
