Civil War did do a bad number considering the fact that it made the divide intense

For me, both the characters have done something at one point for which they need to be criticised and something that they need to be appreciated for

Just like how everyone agrees Tony's a genius, Cap has amazing leadership skills

Both are amazing

But both are flawed too...

I do have dislike for Steve slightly more

But that never makes me turn a blind eye towards Tony's flaws

I think CW is what initiated the divide actually.. before that it was a found family vibe. Avengers era, everyone was happy and every ff used to be about them all staying together at Avengers Tower, bonding and bickering like a sweet little family. Very warm and beautiful ❤️ Post CW everything was about Team Tony/Team Stark and who was better

I have more complaints for Steve too, but like I said it's more along the lines of "with great power comes great responsibility". He's a leader so he's inadvertently responsible for everything else that goes on, whether he sees it or not. Tony's genius and sass gets him immediate brownie points from me, but by God he does have his flaws Which is why it is so amazing to see him rise above everything and do what needs to be done. Endgame had me unimpressed with the time travel, but Tony gave me all the feels 😭❤️

Both are very compelling characters. And it's why CW despite its flaws manages to work as a film where BvS didn't. Well-fleshed characters make all the difference ❤️

Honestly people liked all the characters but everyone had a fav

And with every fandom comes a toxic part which is always toxic

No fandom doesnt have any toxic fans

So CW did work in dividing

At times I feel for Steve but then I am like why? And then I am totally confused

Tony gets a pass from me only coz of his Sass

I am biased towards anyone who is sassy🤣

But on a serious note he did have so many flaws and those are extremely aggravating🤔

But Tony as extremely lucky to have Pepper with him
