Anniyan kills 6 people in the movie. How many murders were justified among them?
1. The guy who refuses to help a wounded man due to which he dies : This guy had no value for human life so it makes sense that his life shouldn't be valued either.
2. Railway contractor : Was going to make people eat toxic food which has came in contact of a lizard. Again an irresponsible person who has no regard for human life.
3. The factory owner : Makes bad quality products which can put consumers life in danger. Tries to get Ambi killed by sending goons after him. Probably would be involved in other shady business as well.
4. The guy who does no work : This person wasn't putting anyone's life in danger and wasn't affecting anyone. But he was a waste of space so killing him made no difference to the world.
5. Evil rent owner : Not following laws of rent control and taking away rights of tenants. Did he deserve to die? Maybe not if he was punished by the law which Ambi did try to do.
6. Irresponsible lineman due to whom Ambi's sister died : This murder seemed more personal and was more like a revenge. Did he deserve to die? Again maybe not if he was punished by the law which Ambi's father did try to do.
People say it's wrong to take law in your own hands. But this movie does show that taking the legal route is hardly ever effective. Ambi tries to get the wrongdoers punished in the court of law, but fails everytime.
People like the railway contractor, factory owner, rent owner, lineman etc., we see and hear about such people in day to day life who are irresponsible with their job but never get punished for it.
Indians laws are weak and too lenient on their citizens. On top of that, rich people always get away due to their connections.
So does the method of Anniyan taking law in his own hands makes sense? Or one should fight legally like Ambi which hardly ever brings fruitful results?

But, yeah agree...
I liked the movie... but no idea if having such a person around would be good. Maybe if instead of killing people if he would've presented them in front of law... I would support this IRL as well.
