But the thing about all Southies engaging more may not necessarily be true in this case. Look at Kajal's and Tamannaah's engagement. Not very high.

It can't only be that.. may be I overestimated her popularity based on those YouTube views her songs got.

YouTube audience is very different from Insta audience though.

I checked socialblade. Sam has a very good engagement rate. It probably means she has more genuine followers. She has a 4.92% engagement rate which is really good for a celebrity. The highest one belongs to Kareena amongst the women.

I put them in order. The only ones who crack 1 million likes per post are Deepika and Shraddha.

Aloo, PC and Katrina have terrible engagement. They must be buying a huge amount of followers.

Odd comparison. 😆 K-pop has a gazillion teen girl fans who have a lot of time for social media. All young pop stars do really well. The One Direction guys and obviously Bieber also get a lot of engagement. Actors' fan bases are not that active or that crazy. They're also older so there's a lot less time spent on celebs.

Got curious and did the same for the men. Put them in order from highest to lowest engagement again.

SRK has the highest engagement rate of 7.3% with more than 1.8 million likes and over 25K comments per post. Varun has the lowest engagement at 2.41%.

Overall, the men do WAY better than the women. The women have much more fake followers IMO and even the real ones don't engage and just scroll through the feed. It's actually surprising because I thought the girls would actually do better because of their thirst posts. 😆
