I am against any bollywood adaptation of epics because they have habit of glorifying molesters be it Karna in Mahabharat and Ravan in Ramayana

I am not yet fortunate enough to see Ravan being glorified but Karna has achieved the demi God status even without any help from the Bollywood. 😵

So it’s settled then. Anushka, Kareena and may be Sonam as the three queens, Salman as Dasaratha. We can have Ishaan play Ram, Jhanvi or some new girl as Sita and Sidharth or some other guy as Lakshmana.

I meant Anushka for Kousalya because she is dark-skinned and Kaikeyi was very fair.

Ram. Of course was very dark. Ishaan khattar maybe. What about the TV guy who plays teen Asoka / chandragupt etc.

I don't know his name but he acts well and looks good in action. He has his own fanbase which may bring much more audience than ishaan khattar. AnanYa Jhanvi look ugly and act like dead wood.

Maybe someone from other movie industry why restrict to dumb dolls of bollywood

Ain't that says a lot about the last 10 years of Industry be it north or south. There is no decent actor to take on a role that is under 25.

Rama killed Tadaka as 16 year old boy.

Rama Sita wedding if it is shown needs under 25 actors. Not oldies. Doesn't matter how good the actor is.

When will these guys ever learn.

Even Hollywood has learnt and now casts age appropriate actors

Spiderman is a teenager so Marvel cast a teenager for it.

We still have 35 and 50 year olds playing teenagers.

Acting and looks be damned. Stop casting oldies for teenager and young adult roles

Before anyone starts my rant is not ageist.

Kareena's age makes her suitable for Kaikeyi not Sita.

Anushka Sherry's age makes her suitable for Kousalya not Sita.

Dasrath was older though Salman should try for that. Long flowing beard can help his expressionless acting.

This is fair enough.

They should go for an entirely new cast.

I have never seen bollywood doing that. It's the Tamil and Telugu industry who portray Karna and Raavan as heroes and Ram or Krishna as villians. And that is according to tgeir Dravidian versions of Ramayana.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion if they feel Kareena doesn't suit the role based on her age or her acting ability. That's valid.

The problem is when you cite her personal life, who she married, what she named her son as the reason. Or you call her old and offer Kangana Ranaut as the better option; like what?
