In the movie Ludo, it was said that life is just like the game of ludo, where it doesn't matter if you win or lose.
Because ultimately all tokens have to come back to the same place. Winning doesn't matter here, because winning actually means dying.
In the end of the movie, Bittu (Abhishek Bachchan) won the game, because he died first. He reached home before the rest of the characters. But he also didn't get a happy ending like the others. He couldn't get his daughter or his family back.
He wanted to take revenge from Sattu (Pankaj Tripathi) by killing him, but he died instead and Sattu remained alive. Although he ended up being crippled, probably for lifetime, so we can argue that he got the worst fate. Since he wasn't a token, but a die in the movie, he has to suffer till the rest of the tokens reach home.
Overall, the message of the movie as said by "Yamraj" played by Anurag Basu is, right or wrong is a relative thing, it doesn't matter, karma doesn't exist...heaven, hell, God, demons are all imaginary beings created by humans to comfort themselves (thus confirming that he and Chitragupta shown in the movie are also not real).
So we should live our life however we want, without caring about ethics or morals because it doesn't matter. Good people like Bittu never always get justice. Bad people like Pinky (Fatima Sana Shaikh) who killed her husband to run away with her lover Alu (Rajkummar Rao) don't face any consequences for their misdeeds.
Also materialistic things do matter, like we see Shruti (Sanya Malhotra) kinda regretting her decision to marry Akash (Aditya Roy Kapur) after she sees Rahul (Rohit Suresh Saraf) and Sheeja (Pearle Maaney) wearing expensive clothes and travelling in a brand new car, a life which she wanted.
Rahul and Sheeja ended up getting the best deal in the movie, although they too tried to kill Sattu, and didn't face any consequence for it. Instead they ended up being millionaires. They would live a grand life and probably reach home (die) last, as they have access to best health-care because of money.
They didn't win the game, but it didn't matter anyway. Because Ludo is a stupid game, just like Earth is a stupid planet in this vast universe, and we humans are just a tiny speck of dust in it.
