What were your thoughts about "Rahul" imagining about a girl like "Maya" ?

He described her and felt that she does exist ! Was he being too dreamy ? Did you also believe his words? Or did you also laugh it off like his friends ?

His "Maya" fantasy was corny as hell but most of the movies back then are dated now... so anyone watching them today will find them cringe-inducing and amusing.

Now that I look back, it reminds me of all those teenagers who have a certain vision of their soulmates in their minds... with an extended list of physical and abstract qualities no one can pinpoint. I also couldn't tell if he was visualizing a dance/skit project or the love of his life, the one and only Maya.😆

He finds Madz in the movie who personifies Maya perfectly cuz it's a movie but in reality, we often fall for someone who might not possess a single quality in our fantasy list cuz that person redefines the list for you instead.

So....I say don't read too much into it, just enjoy the cheesefest for what it is and for Christ's sake, don't EVER go looking for your own Maya like that in real.😆

On the minuscule chance offscreen Rahul does find a real-life Maya and she is a flesh-and-blood human, she's likely to have her own dreams and aspirations which she might not (#shocker) sacrifice for him.😆 Or her dream man might be someone else.
