So, apparently there was this feel-good, cutie-patootie movie that had released back in 2003 named Chupke Se.

Except for the lead actors, everyone was pretty much a well-known face in the industry.

Megha Timgire (Masumeh Makhija) is a plain-looking middle-class girl, living with her parents, Laxmi (Reema Lagoo) and Babanrao Timgire (Dilip Prabhawalkar). Babanrao Timgire is as an honest income tax officer.

Megha has only one desire - to become a model and a beauty queen. But there's one side to her personality that even her parents are miffed by - her spontaneity at lying to get herself out of unpleasant situations. At a party, she is wrongly introduced as Sarika Verma, and meets two eligible young men, Rizwan (Raman Lamba) and Varun Arya (Zulfi Syed). She expresses her wish to become a model and is referred to Almera Kochar (Rati Agnihotri), who has a reputation of bringing out the best in every model and making them beauty queens. Almera meets with Sarika / Megha and accepts her as a student at her modeling agency. She makes Megha aka Sarika sign a contract with a compensatory clause (which Megha doesn't bother reading and signs off in excitement with her actual name - Megha Timgire). What Sarika does not know is that she has now become a pawn in a devious plot concocted to protect millions gained by criminal activities on the black market.

Over the course of time, Megha's lies get uncovered and series of events follow.

A few note-worthy dialogues of the movie:

- Kaasim Khan Qayamat kaun?

- Main chahoon you yun, yun, yun bana sakti hoon!

- Heart mein bullet!

- Hum gire, tum gire, saari duniya gire... The award goes to Megha Timgire!
