It might be movie adaptation of palace of illusions novel🤔

Its apparently not. Same was clarified by her, her team, as well as the author of that book, who said no one approached her for the rights though she would love to if it were made into a movie.

On topic - Andho mein kaana raja!!

I do enjoy watching DP's movies. Not a hater, either.

Problem is this is Panchali we're talking about, a woman who used to be the empress of Aryavarta, its finance minister, and citizen liaison. A woman so powerful Vyasa called her both Saraswati and Shree.

Palace of Illusions reduces her to a hormonal teenager. The book justifies the attack by a man rejected on a woman - a sexual assault, to boot! The book pairs a sexual assault victim with her assaulter.

Considering the fact DP went to JNU to offer support for a progerssive cause, why not exercise some responsibiltiy in her choice of what to portray? If she doesn't, then the audience, esp that part of the audience which has some familiarity with actual Mahabharat, will call her out. And yeah, it is selective feminism to do this atrocity to an actually powerful female character and then claim support for women's rights.

Re: DP the actress. There hasn't been one powerful role from DP which makes me believe she could portray Panchali as Vyasa wrote her.

That’s a good and valid point even if I don’t agree with all of it as a fan. I was mostly talking of some people bringing negativity to every topic of hers.

What Kangana does on Twitter, DP does with PR Articles.

Thing is DP doesn't project the insane and toxic and vile vibes which Kangana does. All actors do PR, and DP is successful at it.

Not too many go around attacking regular people as Kangana does. Not too many spew venom like she does.

Equating DP's PR to Kangana's near-criminality is not merely unjustified... it is lacking in facts.

Doesn't make it any better, IMO. When you are posting news of your favourite celebrity, the last thing you want to hear is that the person who wrote the article is vella. The news inside is nothing short of remarkable achievement. Most valued female celebrity in India - it's a big deal, like it or not.

A bit too sensitive considering u are very clear and vocal on this forum of who u dont like.

Glad to see someone addressing it. How on earth can someone equate that dabba on humans to anything any human being does? I would be taken aback reading the comparisons and equating that vile shit to any human, let alone Deepika or any other actor!

It makes me believe that if DP or any other actor dared to do even half the shit of what Kangu is doing, they would be stoned to death by now.🤢
