Sad reality of this world, they can only blame the world's problem on a single enemy which they all can fight, instead of looking into complex interrelated forces beyond their control.

Am I the only one who can feel a sense of entitlement in her. Like, she is now married to one of the biggest director/producer in the BW, she hasn't had to struggle in last 15yrs for a role because her husband would give it to her. And on top of that, she seems to be so far fetched from the reality. Truth is, even children get molested sometimes by their own father, you can't expect a 2month old baby to defend themselves. Teaching guys to behave while simultaneously teaching defense to girls is what IMO she was talking about. She focused on the latter part but former is the utmost need for our society.

Yeah, but men and children watch such videos and can easily misinterpret that as well. For such sensitive topics, you need to clearly convey the right message. Sometimes shutting up is better than saying something so grossly inappropriate.

And I am tired of this "suggestion" from Indian society that you can only change yourself, not others. Why keep pushing this agenda? Instead we should educate and push towards equality and respect. When parents learn about it, they teach their boys about it, then rapes will stop happening. Once you sensitise kids about this, they will grow up with a perception that you need to respect everyone, especially dignity of a woman.

I liked Rani but after I watched this interview when it came out it left a bad taste. Very arrogant of her maybe she changed after she got married to Richie rich guy, she used to be politically correct person. Or maybe she was fake personality before. She will never understand someone who went through being touched without their consent. I dislike deepika now, I used to be her fan but in this interview at least she was good in defending the metoo women and she did dropped out a movie she wanted to do Luv because he was accused of me too but now shraddha forum’s favorite is working with that same director. Anyways I like luv director movies so hoping that those are rumors and false stories about him
