but he didn't act on his own.

He just put forward the request of the public in that area. So how is it his PR, when he acted upon the request of his area's people?

And he didn't it alone, that thing needed to be approved by whole South Delhi Municipality House, and they all did it.

People have named food items, stars, roads, animal species, scientific discoveries and so on on names of celebrities who have nothing to do with the said thing, it is sometimes out of love or admiration or popularity. It can be anything. Like you can say it is Dutt's PR, but what about the public who requested it? I don't think they are doing it out of PR.

If people of those areas are requesting his name? Than why you have go insert the name of someone else?

Sorry but this isn't the case of someone who is alive and using his/her influence to start a project to name a certain thing in his name. It is the public who is demanding it. If they want to honor him, why are we trying to make them feel guilty or stupid, by saying, "oh you jackasses why are you requesting to name the street in the name of a mere bollywood star, when there are thousands of matyrs or historical figures". It is like telling people whom they should love or remember.
