He's very clearly and obviously saying it as a figure of speech. People really need to learn reading comprehension jeez.

Saif does tend to speak from his ass a lot but this time, he was specifically talking about how it felt to see something he worked so hard on fail. Maybe ya'll need to read the full quote before jumping on him. He's not being literal, just describing his hurt.

He is a good actor but he is working way too much. He is everywhere just like Punkaj Misra. They both need to take a chill pill

He mentions Lal Kaptaan specifically coz he worked months in very strenuous dessert conditions, extreme weathers, taking hours in this makeup, growing out his beard and being away from his family for months, and so when it failed he jokingly said he felt said, like a funeral.

Not everything is meant to be taken literally you know? No wonder journalists feel celebs are becoming more and more closed off in interviews. Coz they get exploited with one line being thrown around, and people just sitting there judging without reading.

@bold: Isn't that how almost ALL movies are made? They go to various locations, away from family, put on make up, especially the girls have to put on even heavy jewellery, uncomfortable clothes in unpredictable weather conditions etc. Growing out his beard? Is that really so hard? What is so strenuous about that? That was a pretty lame defence.

It was a great film with great performance from Saif

I think he hears a word he likes and then tries to use it somewhere, like in interviews.
