Yes she did but after so many years. Her career might have been different had she done a Dharma movie earlier in her career.

Plus OK was like a sub par Dharma movie imo

Cant even compare kajol with aloo cutlet. Sorry. Kajol has good screen presence and has given some marvelous performances in all genre.

Kajol and Alia have 2 things in common. 1. Kjo 2. Hype by industry as the best performers ever when they're really just average or below.

But...

3. Kajol has undeniable screen presence.

4. Worked her connections on her own as well.

5. Got lucky with the SRK pairing.

6. Never played the silly link up games Alia does.

Kajol was the most popular actress in 90s and her fan following has increased. Many find her beautiful because she was bold enough to show her natural beauty without the aid of makeup and other artificial stuff. Kajol is a good actor too, she has done versatile roles and has a high number of hits compared to other actresses from 90s. Her performance in Dushman is exceptional.

Alia is a good actress. Kajol was saved by SRK. Without him she was pretty much a non-entity. All those flops with Ajay Devgn and most other actors make it obvious.

Alia well we all know why and how she's getting the work she's getting so not even going there.

Kajol though is not like one of the best actress of all times or even her time, she foremost has screen presence. SRK-Kajol jodi gave her the massive push, their chemistry is 🔥 onscreen. Also thought squeaky but isn't a horrible actor or anything. That used to be the only requirement for an insider- she isn't horrible onscreen.
