Was Tara from Tamasha selfish?

First of all, I think Tamasha has to be one of the most overrated cult movies so there is a disclaimer but here I am going to talk about Tara. She did not appreciate the fact that Ved had become formal and more professional yet she herself continued doing her regular business meetings etc.

Was she selfish or jealous of Ved?

Don't think so. Tara was living the life she wanted (for the most part). Ved was very repressed and suffocated and frustrated.

I don't think so. She had had an image of who Ved was as per their interaction in italy or wherever they met, on meeting him she tried to adjust to the new Ved but seeing how repressed and suffocated he was playing a role rather than living, she took the best decision.

Not selfish but I do think these two should have broken up much before it came to the point of ved proposing her like she was clearly not into him after she realized how he is now why continue it. But maybebhe also proposed too soon

Definitely not selfish, but a part of her refused to acknowledge that Ved had changed. She just could not come to terms with it.

She had no idea of the complexity of Ved's problem because the meltdowns happened in her absence and to her he was just the person she had met in Corsica -- she was living in a romantic bubble of her own.

Ved owes a lot to Tara.

She was the 1st one to recognise his issues of being suffocated with work life and being repressed.

She called it and handled it the best way she could have. Sensitively.

And both of them weren't ready for marriage back then.

Good of her to refuse it there itself to save them further difficulty.

How does she know that he was feeling suffocated with work-life? When you work in a corporate culture, frequent mood swings are common but Tara by stressing on him not being happy etc bakwaas, she actually triggered his BPD and made him feel worthless.
