“Thinking cinema” doesn’t care if you are fair or dark...they can make your skin look darker in makeup. That kind of cinema needs you to be able to “act”. Dia is pretty decent actress, but she was no Konkona, Nandita or for that matter a Tabu who btw is fair!!!!

All these three ladies have a certain stillness and maturity in their performances, Diya doesn’t have that.
