I always roll my eyes when I see internet warriors fighting for equal wages for actresses. Trust me, you don't need to worry about millionaires who get paid less than other millionaires. That too in an industry like BW where the general public doesn't give AF about which actress is in a particular movie. They are more interchangeable than the male actors so they won't get paid like the top male stars do.

The last thing you need to do is carry pitchforks demanding they get paid more. There are much more important causes that need your time.

“People like labourers or those who work in fields, they continue to work even when they’re pregnant because their body is used to it. But if you and I start stressing our bodies in a way it is not used to, we’ll be in trouble.”

“Pregnancy is not the time to start some new kind of workout, but if you have been doing something, you don’t have to stop just because you’re pregnant, If you have been very athletic, it’s okay to continue being so. I did yoga up to the day I went to the hospital. But you need a good trainer as it is a critical time and the postures need to be right. Find a form of exercise that works for you and get your doctor to sign off on it.”

This advice is from Sharmila and Soha

Where I live, it’s pretty normal to be active until you go into labor. You feel tired, you take a nap and continue the routine.

Every pregnancy along side mine of friends and relatives in India that I have seen, people make a huge deal out of it. Pregnant ladies literally are on bed rest. And I have heard their moms and MILs telling others that She is sick. 🤷‍♀️ Pregnancy is not sickness. Seriously. Stop over-reacting.

It depends on one's body condition.. some need real bed rest and some they maybe afraid of consequences and some take advantage of it and act sick...

With my first as I have zero experience I treated my body as a delicate flower 😆 but with second I know what to expect so i worked as before, like a normal day but second pregnancy had more complications for me than my first one 🤷

Pregnancy is something no one can guess why and how it will effect your body.. no matter what. That's why you need supervision of experts while doing anything...

Most ladies that I know are healthy and in their mid 20s. While I had kids in 30s.

Well it’s my observation but in India most gynec scares patients from the start so at the end they can perform c-section and bill more. Coz every delivery is c- section. I hear of not one normal delivery in India. 🤷‍♀️ Which to me is quite unbelievable that every pregnancy has difficulty.

This C-section thing I agree but again not all doctors are same...

I can give you example, my elder cousin first pregnancy was C-section as doctor faked some reasons and did C-section... Her second pregnancy my mother took her to another doctor... Doctor asked why you went for C-section it was very easy for you to have normal delivery. And my sister has normal delivery second time. The same doctor did normal delivery for my friend but did C-section to another cousin.. she is very genuine...

And you know My neighbour can have normal delivery but she is afraid to undergo pain of labour so she insisted doctor to do C-section 🤷 not once but twice...

Coming to my pregnancy I know they are complicated from start but never expected my second will be more complicated than first...

Exactly ! And not just that these same people who give us gyan about everything under the sky like general public are living clueless lives ...suddenly want the same Junta to support pay parity with male stars.

BW actresses themselves are not on same page with each other in this matter.

I mean I totally believed that Kareena, Alia and Deepika are bigger stars than Shahid Kapoor like how they are responsible for films performace at box office. Turned out it was all fluff....The male actors are actually playing at different plane.

to be paid like a male actor one has to shoulder the movie like Sridevi and Madhuri did. They were paid more than khans even during the less enlightened times.
