Akshara Haasan performance in Shamitabh.

Shamitabh is a very underrated movie which doesn't get enough praise in my opinion.

Apart from powerhouse performances of Amitabh and Dhanush, the movie also had a very innovative premise and an interesting theme and plot.

Movies about film industry and cinema always interest me, as they show their interpretation of their own industry.

But here I want to talk about the always overlooked performance of Akshara Haasan in the movie. While her performance was obviously not great compared to Amitabh and Dhanush.

It's applause worthy how she held her own in this movie which was mostly about performances of the male actors. This was her debut movie and there was alot of rawness in her performance, but she had an innocence and charm which she put in this role which made her likable.

She doesn't have the looks to do glamorous roles, but she has it in her to be a big critically acclaimed actor if she polishes her skills.
