The economy is the worst its been in 40 years, this was before Covid. Unemployment is the most its ever been. Taxes are the highest ever. Communal tensions are the highest. Nobody wants to do business in India. They'd rather go to Bangladesh or Vietnam. Millions of people have fallen back below the poverty line.

This country is done. Anybody who can get out..get out. Unfortunately there's no fighting this.

Unfortunately it's a sign of the times we live in, Minty. It's not that the forum has changed but that every single issue does become polarised today. The forum merely reflects that sad change.

I probably went to Pakistan 3 times my whole life from birth to age 27. But then I made up for lost times 😆 For a time in last 30 months Pakistan was 2nd home. An in this lockdown I was contemplating making Netflix style docu series on the last 2 years I spent there 😆

We are in the midst of act of God that seems to be never ending. Prime time news with Poochta hain Bharat shows an alternate universe of villain for the day.

If you are taking a dig at me, then let me tell you that I came to IF to write a fan fiction, and then sheep game brought me to this forum. From then, I played various games, and became a silent reader. Then I got hooked to Bollywood forum and started posting.

I wasn't even in this forum during the time period which minty is talking about. But what I can understand is that she's talking about fanwars and arguments which used to happen here based on members favorites. Like most of minty's threads are about picking and choosing favorite actors, actresses, and movies.

These are the arguments which are supposed to happen in any forum related to Bollywood. But it doesn't happen here. That's why I said, people realized that arguing over favorite actors and actresses is not worth it, and Bollywood movies are not made in such depths to have a discussion.

Still I and few others do make threads discussing about Bollywood movie characters and storylines, but they don't have many takers compared to Sushant, Rhea, Arnab and the likes, and Bollywood discussions is not all about that.

That's what Minty was pointing at. This forum has became political and some members again proved it right by turning even this thread political for their own agenda.
