They become sad and keep harping that they are depressed. 🤔

Depression has become a trend to garner public attention.

I'm not sure how someone speaking about mental health has become such a divisive issue.

If someone speaking out helps even one person it is worth it.

Tell me about it. I don’t even know what Ira did wrong here, that she is being accused of.

Was talking to my mother about this today. I told her Ira khan, Aamirs daughtet came out with her depression story. And my mother said "uske paas toh sab kuch hai, usse kiss baat ka depression" 😑

This is the general thinking of a an average Indian. I've spoken to many on this subject and this is the most popular reply. If you have money you don't get depression. It becomes a laughing matter.

This is why I support anyone who comes out in support of mental health. Cause the general public needs to be educated on this subject. It doesn't bloody matter if mental health has become a "trendy" subject. Let it become trendy. I'd rather it be trendy then taboo. Atleast the people who need help can get help without judgement or embarrassment.

True...if it saves even one life....it can be trendy, non-trendy or any other name people want to give it.

It takes a special kind of talent to push the actual victim to the curb and become the victim urself...🤢

Absolutely!! If anything, this is a trend on a daily basis will evoke more strength and acceptance for those suffering to open up and get the help they need. The biggest factor due to taboo and in these conditions is the feeling of it happening to self and every vocal person is inadvertently adding to the chain of companion of support

I do not understand why people think those who do not have financial problem cannot have depression

Everyone think if you have food on plate and roof on head you cannot have depression

But depression is not about money and roof on head etc

It can happen because of chemical imbalance, genes or because of health issues or even near and dear ones etc surroundings not treating you properly

Ira comes from a broken home, such kids will have emotional issues

Amir does not look a great father too, i doubt he has bothered to spend much time with his first wife kids after his second marraige

Outside all show happy family scenes for media and world

Happy family pictures are also a kind of PR for film folks

The reality will be very different

So i can understand why ira has depression - neither she had a great childhood abondoned by father, neither she has a great career under shadow of amir, nor her personal life going great

And when you are aloof with no friends or relatives etc to support you, you start getting upset or depressed

Amirs brother faisal too had a similar issue - i guess the family and relatives are not that understanding or great as they behave in front of media

Compare that to a bobby deol who also was depressed - but his depression has not gone so bad as he has great family support in his brother, mother etc the extended family
