Are there any BW movies where you were not happy with the ending and felt like altering it?

For me:

Ek Main aur Ek Tu - I felt it was too open-ended. I wanted to see Kareena's character agreeing to date Imran Khan's character and give him a chance.

Cocktail - Wanted to see Veronica wash her hands off both Gautam and Meera instead of reconciling with them.

Ishq Vishk - Wanted to see Amrita Rao's character move on WITHOUT Shahid Kapoor's character.

Rockstar - Wanted a more conclusive ending

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai! Rahul was a f*ckboy who only loved her once she got hot and then came to ruin her wedding. Aman was a real keeper who loved her enough to let her go.

The only reason the ending worked was because it was played by SRK who used his full arsenal of charm. But the character was a complete disaster and she should have ended up with Aman!

Cocktail: wanted Veronica and Meera to fall in love (the two are my OTP🤣)

Shubh Mangal zyaada savdhaan: wanted to see KarMan in Delhi as a normal couple

Bajirao Mastani: Dont teh dramatic ending of both dieing together, but teh actual story

Bala: Bala performing/toasting at Bhumi's wedding, though i love the ending scene too

So true. But the film was made in such a way that the trajectory of Anjali's first love getting fulfilled became more important than actually making the right choice😒

The charm was the adhoora love story.. But I wanted it to be poora..

I want a sequel at least.. Want to know what happened to them.. Obviously Sophie would meet someone nice and he would appreciate the warmth she radiates.. Akash is also charming.. Would he get someone? Will Akash and Sophie's paths cross again?

Chokher Bali (every version)- I have always wanted Binodini & Bihari to end up together. I never got Binodini's decision of going on a lifelong sanyas

Lunchbox- I know they kept the ending open ended to make it more tragic. But Ila and Sajjan definitely deserved to be united onscreen.

All the regressive MCP movies where they show the wife/ GF/heroine forgiving the philandering/ cheating husband/BF/Hero. And yes portraying western dress wearing and career women as characterless and valueless.

We did get glimpses of it in the beginning when they were both riding on a bike....glimpses of togetherness just like any normal couple...alas it was short-lived and not fully fledged out🥺
