That's the problem with liberals in India. It's never about policies like minimum wages/salaries, social security, free healthcare, job guarantees, climate change, agricultural reforms, arrangements for the highly intelligent in various fields of arts, sciences, and humanities, special programs for the disabled, child rights, etc., etc.

It's always about identity politics and vote banks.
