When asked about Casting Couch, Sridevi had no idea what it meant.

Boney Kapoor said she doesn’t know the meaning as she never faced it.

He says casting couch doesn’t exists nowadays among film makers.

Sridevi was practically casting couching with Boney Kapoor through staying at his resident while Boney was already married to his first wife. What an irony!🤪

I know it was an affair, that's why I have used the word 'practically'. Coz while they were in an affair Sridevi was getting her benefits, including getting roles in Boney's films. Would she get those roles had she not been in relationship with him?🤔 It was kinda equivalent to casting couch even if not the same😆

ETA: She looks dumb to not even realize what Casting couch is ,and that too after being in the industry for so long. Looks like she did live in her cocoon. N kudos to her mother that she managed her daughter's career so well that Sridevi never had to compromise for a role.

Not sure about that... I could be wrong but she was so much in demand at that time, she didn’t have to barter sex for roles (the definition of CC)

She only did two movies with him I think while she was the superstar

He might have done her other favors like companionship, giving a place to stay etc..

But he unnecessarily mentions his ex wife, how he informed her that he was in love with Sridevi while married to her and Sridevi is smiling...

He is almost boasting, like it’s something to be proud of...
