It's clear from many accounts that SSR was extremely disturbed by the blinds and it affected him a lot. I think the very fact that he wanted to leave the industry in Nov last year and said it was suffocating was an indicator.
His director Abhishek said that he yearned for validation from the industry.
I would really blame the likes if Rajeev Masand for those malicious blinds. Yes, many stars don't get affected but some do and if it affects their career and mental state then they should be held accountable.
And most of all, if these blinds was an attempt to sabotage his career then they should be jailed. Clearly, his being deeply affected by articles mentioning Disha as his manager relates to his mental state of mind affected by those blinds.
His career too took a hit as far as I know. He had no movies at hand. By 2019 he had no movies at hand.
Rhea is another angle who embezzled money of a vulnerable man at his lowest.
Don't know why he continued his relationship with Rhea and opened 2 companies if there was problems.
Also I read an article at the time of his death where he paid off all his employees and told them he would not be able to pay them anymore....shows the financial stress.
Also that he was shattered when Disha died as she was in talks for a 14cr web series for SSR. That needs to be investigated too.
