I agree that mental illness should be discussed and people should pay attention to it. I also agree that everything that alia and the other starkids went through it was unnecessary.

However, I don't know how can one side with this girl right here! Maybe things aren't as extreme as they are being showcased (and I really hope it isn't because that would make everyone doubt humanity) but she is shady. There are many witnesses against her. Even if you ignore the financial part, the medicine and domination part can't be ignored . Ssr obviously was a grown man but in the past there has thousands of cases where even a powerful man couldn't help himself, Johnny Depp for example. So yes maybe he wasn't a doodh ka dhoola but neither was she!

Even if she is telling the truth and has no involvement in his death, I wish she did not make and release this video because public sentiment is really high right now and everyone is against her. Many will see this video as her attempt to garner sympathy by using her tears.

Ditto. Stupid move. But I guess she was getting desperate seeing the coverage but this will have made it worse

I know I should not laugh, but this made me laugh so hard. 😆 This was not convincing at all, very bad acting... she should just keep quiet and let her lawyers and PR people handle the media.

The sudden sniffling in between, the teary eyes, the no makeup, the white chudidar..everything looks fake and everything is a forced attempt to invoke sympathy.

Why put up a message when your lawyers have asked you not to say anything? What's the point of the 20sec clip?

It is just making it worse for her. Tensions are running high and general public is already up in arms against her..so this message is extremely detrimental.

I think the legal advice would have been to use video to

a. Prove that you're not absconding and willing to cooperate- therefore satyamev jayate

b. Obliquely refer to your innocence and how negative the coverage has been- without actually saying it because case is sub judice.

Hence the rehearsed nature and the cue cards
