It wasn't a simple choice of choosing between three men. She was with those 3 men at different stages of her career. She was with Salman for 4 years (1998-2002), she was with Vivek for 2 years (2002-2004), then she started going out with Abhishek in 2004 while she was still with Vivek.

Salman and Vivek were good for her as long as they were useful for her. After she was done using them, they became bad and she had to find a new good man (who happened to have a stronger surname). Very clever!

She didn't use Salman. What did she get out of him? Ash was so beautiful that film offers fell into her lap. She met and dated Salman because of HDDS so he didn't help her get that. After that, she never worked with him again. Salman was a drunk and troublemaker in those days and ended up in so many court cases. Nobody who wants a peaceful life will stick with someone like that.

Wow...what a disrespectful leech! Who is this interviewer?Could he have dared to speak like that with a Salman or even a Vivek? 🤢👎🏼

I think it's a mix of everything no? He got really cocky, realllly fast. Such confidence and arrogance from newcomers is always looked down upon. Bollywood might be dirty but it's a hush hush place where they don't like being around people who air their dirty laundry in public. I assume it is because everyone has so much dirty laundry that they don't want to be around someone who might air theirs in the future. Then if there is one thing Bollywood establishment hates more than cocky newcomers is whiny people who constantly cry about what a victim they are. I have no doubt his problem with Salman hurt him. I am sure people didn't hire him because either Salman said not to or they just didn't want to ruin the relationship. But Bollywood is a big place where enough people exist who would've worked with him despite of that. There were people who still worked with him and wanted to work with him. According to his own interview he said there were "so many" movies he was supposed to do where he didn't end up doing them either because he refused or his dates didn't work which include Munnabhai, Hum Tum and Bunty aur Babli. Farah had offered him the Arjun Rampal's role in OSO. He turned that down as well. So his own luck by selecting bad movies and rejecting good ones certainly played a part.

Early 2000s was also a really bad, lame and uninteresting phase for bollywood movies. Most of the actors did terrible, unsuccessful movies except for maybe SRK and Hrithik who still had hits. The only newcomers who became successful from that time period were people who continued to work to 2010s and beyond. Vivek gave up.
