Shahrukh Khan's journey to stardom is nothing less of a fairytale. He was just like any other average Joe who had dreams and aspirations for his future. I guess we can all somewhat relate to his story and gain inspiration, especially seeing that he came with nothing but became everything due to his hard-work and perseverance. Moreover, SRK was not considered good-looking in BW because everyone was blind AS-FACK back in those days *coughJuhicough*, so it became even more awesome that an outsider with average looks (lieslies) became most women's fantasy for an ideal hero (mine included)

His offscreen personality and charm is a whole new level of endearing. I know SRK is not perfect and in the last 30 years has made many mistakes, but I have never seen another superstar ooze that much warmth and friendliness like he does. In most interviews all I see is SRK cracking jokes and even insulting himself at times, which makes him appear much more grounded and humble despite the superstardom that he has achieved.

How is it possible that a thread related to SRK is made and FF doesn't write anything!!

Bold, so true. This is one of the best qualities of SRK, he never shies away from cracking jokes at himself and also he keeps on saying how others are better than him. That shows a lot how much grounded he is.

He may have been an inspiration to RKR when the latter was younger but now i hope rkr knows that he(rkr) is a better actor.

Also,it is such an exaggeration to say that srk is an inspiration to anyone looking to make it big in any industry,wouldn't these people have role models from that particular industry itself?like anyone looking to make it big in finance or technology or fashion would have srk as their inspiration?really??

I think he's flawed but those flaws are out in the open and thats what makes him relatable. I mean in the all the years I've followed bollywood, he's truly the only actor I have actually loved and followed.

And he's so warm and welcoming to everyone, its so rare to see someone so successful be that way. Even actresses love him because he doesn't cut their screen time short*ahemahem*

I've seen that though my father doesn't follow bollywood all that much, he really respects SRK for his journey and how he made it.

Actually I'm in the finance field and I take inspiration from his conduct alot. It doesn't have to be such that you can take inspiration from someone only in your field. I am motivated by Michelle Obama as well, similarly by Malala. They aren't in the finance field so yeah, you get me?

But to assume that EVERYONE from any industry takes inspiration from him is a bit much..i believe.

Exactly, there are many people who I know from different fields who talk about SRK, Amitabh and many others as inspiration. We used to have chapters on Sudha Chandran, Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin in our school books. Inspiration can be from anyone. It's not something related to the same field.

Now if only he can get on track and actually sign good movies. Stop doing movies as favours to your friends.

Infact every time I felt low or uninspired, I used to watch the MSD movie, it used to be my mood uplifter and made me want to do things!

Like u said the reason why RajKumar or Sushant or Karthik feel he is an inspiration because they connect with him and he with them....he can joke with them and make fun of them....but at the end he encourages them....that half video without the context that people went on bashing him for making fun of Sushant...either they did not see the end of it or they ignored it where he had hugged SSR so warmly and said BW ka future...

Of course in his 30 years of career he has run his mouth several times...said and did things that I am not proud of......but then we all have our share of what we have done...but if u do the math....he is still the best one that we have...

But brace urself for all the videos and quotes and what not that some people who do not like SRK will bring as if those define his 30 years in BW😆

You said it so right . He is also a human and has done mistakes but he is also the one who you can easily connect to. Someone easy to be friends with. Just imagine him being a superstar but still it feels like if you meet him, he will treat you with the same warmth and love.
