Aamir never had media on his side. They just constantly wrote against him. Even when he was newly married to kirsn rao it was reported in blinds that he has an affair eith the white lady in RDB.. as soon as he re married there were articles in newspapers that kiran is filing for divorce coz shes doesn't like Aamir mingling with Junaid n Ira. He gave no interview fir RDB nor fanaa. He even mentioned my success is undermined and little things are blown out of proportion. After these two hits he came strongly during Taare zameen par..he pretty much brought in promotion culture while going all out. While filming tzp also there were negative reports he dint pay the kids n served them chilled cola at 7 am to wake them up. Media even said junaid is Dyslexic. But while promoting he changed everything.

He said some years back a section of media cannot digest the fact that i have not given a flop in a decade.

Recently also..so many blinds about fatima. ( i hate her coz shes annoying n dont want to work with aamir again)

Also since junaid was assisting in PK, there was blind that he insulted junaid in front of everybody. Recently also there was a blind that Aamir is insecure of junaid is putting hurdles in his launch.

Nothing professional. Everyone has blinds against them. RK even talked against Masand in an AIB podcast and that he keeps writing fake blinds about him.

There were blinds about KJo favorite Alia too - there was an infamous one about her sleeping with a superstar. You can't dismiss it saying that "oh it's about her sex life and Sushant's affected his work." Because the purpose of these types of blinds is to show she is getting ahead in her career through the bedroom.

Everyone has blinds written on them. But depending on the type of blind item, it can affect someone very negatively. If the blind item talks about affairs, break ups, people falling out, or movie being a mess or someone taking recreational drugs etc, it is easier to move on and usually it has little effect on real life. After all, not every movie goer is up-to-date with all the blinds being written.

If a blind item accuses an actor of a #MeToo incident without doing any due diligence to ascertain whether it's true or not, then it can definitely affect a small time actor. If the idea that is presented in the blind spreads, then producers and casting agents might back off from casting such a person. After all, no one wants to take a risk of this blind coming back in a big way right at the time of a movie release. Things like these have a strange way of becoming big and causing a lot of questions. It is not easy to defend against these accusations either.

That's why I feel very icky when I see MeToo accusations being made in blind items. There is no evidence that the writer of the blind item has done any kind of due diligence to verify the facts. At a minimum, they need to talk to people, verify dates etc

Another category of blinds, where writers out the sexuality of some public figure is also very problematic.

But RK himself said 80 percent of the articles are true and 20 percent are false on an interview, so he supported the blinds and somehow I feel he is a gossiper and likes to spread some news too
