Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Mumbai Police To Interrogate Sanjay Leela Bhansali

A lot of high-profile celebs are being questioned by Mumbai Police in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide and joining them soon will be filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

A well-placed police source confirmed that a summon asking Bhansali to appear before the police in next couple of days has been sent, and the ‘Padmavaat’ director will soon be called for questioning in Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

The source also said that Shanoo Sharma, casting director of the Yashraj Films, will also be called for the second round of questioning. She was called to the Bandra police station for the first round of questioning on June 28.

Reportedly, Sushant was offered Bhansali's film 'Ramleela' but was later replaced by Ranveer Singh, later the filmmaker also approached the late actor for 'Bajirao Mastani' but he was again removed from the film at the last moment. Bhansali will be interrogated about the same by Mumbai police.

Sources claim that Sushant lost multiple big projects due to Bollywood's nepotism gang who didn't want him to work with big banners.

Sources also reveal that actress Kangana Ranaut and director Shekhar Kapur, who have no direct involvement in the investigation, but have been actively speaking on Sushant’s struggle in Bollywood may also be invited to record their statements with the police.

I think at this point, they are just star-struck and are using this opportunity to take their selfies and talk to them. What else explains summoning them for questioning when they are unrelated to the case? Why can't they simply call and ask their questions? Why do they have to fly in the middle of a pandemic? Idiots.

What mocking the case? She kept talking about Sushant and how he was tortured by the industry on social media. What is the harm in helping police by sharing her knowledge regarding the same?

After that they should also call Payal Rohatgi for her inputs too.

Mahesh Bhatt also speaks about the case, but no one has yet invited him.

If they are really interested to solve the case then they should plan to invite people who are directly connected to the case. For example the people who wrote the blinds etc. Otherwise, they can invite the entire industry, since everyone must have noticed a bit.

He doesn't speak about somebody being the cause of his suicide, what are they supposed to ask him. But anyways yes even he should be questioned if he has ever stated he knows something.

Problem with the blinds is they will have no proof to suggest the blinds were about Sushant. Which is why they use those nameless blinds to begin with. But that is just me guessing, maybe they can interrogate and make them accept it in the process but even then they will have their lawyers ready. So without proof I don't think catching Masand will be easy to interrogate as of now. Maybe questioning others can lead them to him with some sort of evidence that connects him to the case which he can't dodge easily.
