Ranbir doesn't really like anyone he perceives as a threat to him. Somehow being the 3rd generation actor from his family he comes across as pretty insecure.

It's not sushant's lack of social skills but the lack of dignity on ranbir's part in that round table.

👍🏼Agreed! I smelled insecurity and smugness from Ranbir's end! He was rude plain and simple!

One thing I learnt hard about BW from all this is, BW is not a place where education has any respect or place. Sometimes I watch North American shows and feel weird that how a nerd is made fun of by everyone in the family or friend circle. Being a bengali, I cannot even imagine not taking education as the top most priority. Here if a guy has a degree from the top colleges, fathers wont even do a proper background check before marrying their precious daughters to them. Hours and hours of arguments defending people with degrees because .... you know, education IS important.

And then I see these folks . Watching SSR's interviews, the way he speaks, it does show how fast and multi-dimensional his mind is. He is a top student, has a world beyond cinema and is here only because of his passion. Instead of giving respect to the most educated guy in the room, the dumbass morons made him feel low and outskirt. These 2 rupee paanchvi fail morons. I have no words now. So disgusted the more I see this guy and think abt the shallow bunch of empty pots KJo and his gossip groups. Making fun of someone because they are more intelligent than you ? Something I am never gonna get. 🤢

The entire interview was awkward idk how to explain it, Sushant is smart but not articulate especially in front of Shahid, Big B, Ranbir. Even Diljit made more sense. Maybe Sushant gets nervous or something but people do seem to get rubbed the wrong way.

@Bold: That might also be because they seem to lack kindness and the willingness to hear to just hear and not to respond. Inko toh bas bolna hai sunna kisiko nai.

Rarely can people hide their awe and nervousness around bigger achiever and idols. It must have been a big deal for him sitting on the same table and giving an interview with BigB.

Also rajkumar rao types are very assertive and outspoken which is why they probably have gotten adjusted. For shy introverts like sushant, he probably needs little time to open up. Like during his PR days , he had a great bond with his co actors. Being an introvert myself, I am not comfortable with all kinds of people. I am chirpy talkative in the presence of people i get adjusted to. I take my time.

I was watching the actors' roundtable. It's funny hoe they are so nice to Diljit, but rather indifferent to Sushant. Someone said in the comments that it's because Diljit was being deferential to them, stroking their ego. 😆

I think it's basically that they insult or demean anyone who is not part of their industry "family".... A jibe here. ... A cut there.... All disguised as fun.

Firstly They do it to most of the outsiders.. Secondly when any of the outsider becomes successful then it intensifies

I think that they are probably thinking right now what's the big deal because they honestly don't think that their behaviour is problematic or wrong.

I didn’t know where to post this but I didn’t like karan Patel’s post about sushant either, he said how can someone who had millions of followers feel alone and it made an angry at karan just because your happy in your own bubble with your family, some doesn’t live that way. How I hate these people who don’t understand anything about depression just say whatever without caring. How I felt about saif too he didn’t care just shut up and live in your happy bubble. They probably was jealous of sushant’s professional success. Sushant went from tv to blockbuster movies. It makes me sad thinking that he ended this way, he could’ve married someone family chose for him like shahid, took a break from acting if he was not offered what he liked and so many what ifs from blind to so many things
