This is a snippet from Kriti Sanon's interview from NDTV

In the same interview, when asked about getting replaced by a star-kid in a film, Kriti said: "I don't know if they dialed the phone or not, but someone, who was from a film family or there was a little more buzz about that person, had replaced me. So yes, it's happened but I don't know the reason behind it. The director might have genuinely wanted that person. It has happened a few times."

Amitabh Bachchan is a celeb kid. He is the son of well known and celebrated poet Harivanshrai Bachchan. Such things help. The fact that Amitabh Bachchan is a fantastic actor covered his failure in the early years of his career. Though he was appreciated in movies like Anand and Bombay To Goa he too had a string of flops and yet he got movies, but the fact that he is a fantastic actor might be more responsible for it than he been a celebrity son.

alia has benefited from nepotism and accepts the tactics willingly.

Dear zindagi-snatched from Katrina. There is an interview where the director was said to be “pushed” to take her in the film. That’s blatant nepotism and misuse of power -and quite sickening if you ask me.

Boy, raazi, were films the director was happy to cast her. But wait as long a kjo co produced and put in the money.

She benefits from the system. And doesn’t say a word. She’s extremely priveleged there’s no two ways about it. Her career has not taken off because of talent only and that’s a bunch of bs. She’s always been praised for her roles and types of films she’s apart of before her talent

As far as her “brand” value, it’s pr hyped. She’s underwhelming compared to Katrina, priyanka, kareena etc. And hugely underwhelming.

Look, if Karan has so much influence over other Director / Producer, then he would have made Alia Much bigger star. First of all Imtiaz Ali is biggest Disaster Director anyone would dream to work with, he has literally destroyed Srk's already sinking career by giving him JHMS, now gave another Disaster to Karthik, who got success recently, Imtiaz agreed to cast Alia wasn't in return to get any Dharma Film, he hasn't done any Dharma Film & What kind of Director he is if he is casting someone he doesn't want? Highway's producer is Sajid N, ask him why he cast Alia & not others?

Also, that Taapsee's role which went to Ananya isn't coz of Kjo, that was T-Series / BR Chopra production film, ask them why they cast Ananya? Kjo didn't produce that film, neither had any role of making it BIG BIG HIT for which they obliged him & gave the role to Ananya.

Taapsee's Thappad released recently, Saand ki Aankh, with Bhumi, both FLOP at Box Office, how many ppl went to see her film, forget Theatres, let me know if these 2 films got big appreciation at TV Release or so?? Why hasn't the audience accepted her as Big Heroine? Now listen, Taapsee's Biggest HIT is JUDWAA 2, which is indeed having same Star kid Varun, even on TV, that film is a big HIT. Hasn't she got Critical Acclaim or Appreciation for her work in her films even if we ignore box office or tv reach? Yes, She has got her due, She has known Talent despite not getting BIG HITs on her own, ppl love her work. how does losing Pati Patni film became such a big issue that you have to crucify Kjo for her??

- Imtiaz was considered amongst one of the best director of this country before JHMS. Almost all his movies to JHMS were either critically acclaimed or big hits at the box office.

- Alia is already a huge star thanks to KJo. You can look around all the paid articles that goes around social media touting her as the best thing ever(courtesy of KJo). I remember when Kalank came out and flopped ar the box office, Alia's PR started spreading articles on social media which read, "Madhuri Dixit's movie Kalank tanked at the box office"...Lol! The movie was promoted on Varun-Alia's name and as soon as it flopped, they made it Madhuri's movie even though Madhuri only had a supporting role in the movie.

Alia won Best actress award for Gully Boy... she had a supporting role in that movie but still won "Best actress" award. Alia is the biggest beneficiary of nepotism in Bollywood right now. It's okay if she gets movie offers because of her credibility but snatching movies/awards from other actors and playing dirty politics against them is wrong and needs to be stopped.

- Maybe, it was not Karan Johar... but somebody pulled some strings to help Ananya snatched that movie from Tapsee. Isn't that a privilege. I remember in one interview with Anupama Chopra, Tapsee mentioned that it took 5 years for her to get a interview by Anupama whereas some star kids got to be interviewed even before their first films came out in the theatres. Isn't that a privilege?

- One of the journalist mentioned on Twitter recently that the production departments denied them a solo interview with Sushant and offered him to interview Sara and Shraddha instead of him. Isn't that a privilege? How these star kids are pushed forward at the cost of these outsiders?
