Can we for once stop blaming everyone? What is with people bullying Alia, Kjo, Deepika. I remember on the day Sushant died, they took big vows on internet how one should not bully celebs and it might affect their mental health. Now what are the doing? Bullying everyone from Kjo, Ranveer to SRK, Deepika. We can't blame anyone here without concrete proofs. Posting a 7 year old clip from a talk show or an award show isn't any proof or justification to bully anyone or held someone responsible for another person's death.

Please remember even if its nepotism or lack of opportunities that's responsible for his depression, we din't show that outrage earlier or supported him earlier. Even though multiple articles had come up about him losing movie deals etc to Ranveer and the likes many ignored that, instead people here as well as on other SM platforms chose to believe those blinds that called him a Me too accuser , sexual predator, womanizer, attention seeker etc etc. We should not act holier than thou by just accusing celebs (without proofs) for his death when the fact is we all as viewers also failed him. So i think all this blame game is utter rubbish, people on social media just need a reason to blame others for their own wrong doings.

Yes, she is right indeed. But to me it seems like she is almost gloating about it.

She didn't spare a word on the one who actually passed away. Instead she is using his death as an evidence to reinstate her beliefs.

Seemed a little insensitive to me.

I will not defend her as i myself have been disappointed with her during chapaak promotion but as far as i have seen, i thought they are not friends.....so anything personal from her would've again gotten her bashed that she is faking it, maybe that's why she didn't post....

Also since she was a patient herself, maybe it is a way of fighting her own demons.......... we don't know what a person's coping method is...... for her, I assume seeing anyone dying from clinical depression will remind her of her own pain.........so maybe.....maybe this is just a way to assure herself that yes she is doing well.........and reminding others who might want to take the same step, that please there is help, speak up........ didn't we have a thread about a female fan committing suicide for SSR......whether that's true or not, we don't know, but similarly she also might not be aware and hence thinking that news to be true, she felt to re-iterate....

i am saying this cause i am the same too.......few of my colleagues went on a bike trip to Ladakh (the terrain there is difficult to ride) and my first statement to my friend, when i got to know, was that they should be careful, the terrain is difficult. hope they prepared themselves properly. Unfortunately they had not, and one couple had an accident and lost their lives...........now whenever someone mentions about bike trip, my first reaction is that please prepare properly and take help from experienced riders....... the couple who died were my colleagues but my first reaction is not to remember them but to help those who plan to go there.......like to caution them.....to alert them......to make them aware that its not as easy as it looks in documentaries........

your point about why she or her foundation didn't help him......... there can be two reasons, one that she wasn't aware he is suffering, not being so close to him........second, sometimes you cannot force someone who isn't close to you......neither can a foundation breach his right to privacy by forcing him to take counseling with them......yes it would be a breach cause i am sure someone would've leaked it out..... at the most outsiders can do is contact his family and reprise them of the situation...

What I don’t get is when people writing to anyone who is part of the industry. You knew he had depression why didn’t you do anything?

First of all how do you know who is depressed. How can you differentiate between sad or being in a bad mood, maybe the person is a moody person in general or whatsoever.
If a friend or a family member is not able to help sometimes or don’t recognize it. How should xyz reach out and help when they don’t have anything to do with eachother. In the industry there are several rumours about actors how should they now that its true of him being depressed.

What I understand in all this that a lot of people still have no knowledge about mental illness or depression. People need to be educated and be aware that something like this exists and that it can be different for every individual.

Yes maybe instead deepika said I battled depression she could have written it differently.That post can have several interpretations.

But it’s also a sign that She battled the same illness like sushant and gave an advice to those who battle the same illness that they can overcome such suicide thoughts. To reach out, to talk to someone that they shouldn’t left alone.

We are making sure people start getting paranoid around a depressed person given the way we are blaming literally and anyone and everyone for not being able to save Sushant. This will only lead to more and more people isolating patients rather than being with them. Can we please stop having such high level of expectations from people to be a saviour to everyone around them. Everyone has their limitations in life. Everybody is dealing with their own lives. Its unfair to blame them in this manner especially when they are not even close to the patient in the first place.Who knows if she even knew what Sushant was suffering through, who knows if Sushant even wanted anyone to intefere in his private matter. Its nobody's duty or resposibility in life with be there for everybody who is suffering through something or the other. Nobody can be there for everybody. Encourage people to be there for each other but don't crucify them for not being able to do so.

The industry is so openly saying that he was depressed even before the police could confirm... some even called his mental state schizophrenic... these news travel much faster in the industry especially if you are in the elite clique... on that note, if you are not able to help the individual... if not medically but atleast as a human... by being friendly and making them feel accepted then there is something majorly wrong with the base of your whole idea of starting this foundation...

And this is not bullying, I am just a disappointed fan who expected or thought her more of a human than she might really be...

Systematic bullying is what Sushant experienced...

This is retarded, no one way would have guaranteed no flak for her postings.

So now they're classified as friends based on what some DP fan said years ago.

People buy into any narrative to avoid judging from members, losing all autonomy of their own thought process, time and again.

This is becoming a never ending cycle. Just because a celeb is here in this world doesn't mean retrospection of your actions is restricted to Sushant. The undue hate Karthik gets is similar. God forbid if KSG ever took this step, members will be beside themselves with years of hate.

What is this blame game- blame celebs who are alive, blame members who still post here, does it ever end.. goes for me making this post as well..

Yes she should have mentioned him.If she hadn’t tweeted anything I wudnt have said this but if u are so concerned about mental health that u keep bringing it now n then..u are talking about it as one of the reasons for his death too then a simple mention of his name would have been better.Even if u dint know him personally then too.And if u were mourning in private why tweet about the mental thing at that point.

Baki it’s her life her choice.
