I know this fan and she seems genuine.She was gutted when she made this post. Also quite a few SSR fans have said in the past that he communicated with them on a regular basis. So does not seem like a cooked up story.

No he was actually in touch with a lot of fans... communicated with them..followed them.. liked their tweets commented at times. So i don't want to sit with a judgmental specs again..This looks genuine... specially the interaction part.. I remember he was made fun off when he deleted his insta ..he used to delete his post... He was mocked for everything he did.. I suppose the drive event and the me too one destroyed him totally... He started to sound different at least on his social networking handles a bit different...

They loveee mocking TV people, especially on KWK.

They made fun of Rajeev Khandelwal also on KWK twice. First was the Ekta episode where she called Rajeev the Salman of TV. And then KJo said, do you hate Salman so much, or something? Just coz he quit her dumb show, he was supposed to be jobless?

Second was in DP-Sonam episode I think. He asked why DP hadnt removed the RK tatoo, is she waiting for Rajeev Khandelwal now? Then both actresses made a face as if wo kaun hai? Why would you do that? Kya bigada hai Rajeev ne tumhara?

After Aamir, all the movies Rajeev signed were mysteriously stalled (Bhansali, Pritish Nandy, etc had signed him for films). Bhansali kept him waiting for 2 years and then stalled the film. He refused other films coz he had allotted dates this one. I read Bhansali did the same to Sushant.

Rajeev was nominated for best debut but award functions didn't invite him to even attend, esp Filmfare. So he stopped going only. He worked with totally new people and new production houses, and that did not end well. And then those directors were snapped up by big producers so that they never signed Rajeev. Bijoy Nair (Shaitan), Rajkumar Gupta (Aamir) all went on to work with Balaji/KJo. They never worked with Rajeev again.

I strongly believe Team Ekta worked against Rajeev during his debut and the years immediately following his debut. Yaha KJo/YRF against SSR.

I used to be a huge fan of Rajeev and he used to have a blog where he would write regularly and tell us about his films. He stopped blogging. He said now he will not tell us about any film until it is actually done coz everytime he feels like he is letting fans down coz everything gets stalled.

They kill people's desire and love for acting and work. Eventually Rajeev is now working for Ekta's webshows for the same people he wanted to do films with. His wishlist had Pradip Sarkar and Ken Ghosh when he had just signed Aamir. He did webshows with both of them.

EDIT: Did not intend to change the course of discussion from Sushant to Rajeev. Just got carried away.

Apart from the movie industry, that happens everywhere you work. You don't displease a senior person in the organization. But at least, there are so many companies, you can always quit. The movie/ tv industry is quite niche in India where everyone knows everybody. Its not about licking people's a$$ but its about being smart.

I remember watching America's next top model and one of the contestants was upset because of backbiting and hate she recieved. Tyra Banks assured her that once she makes it through, she will have dedicated websites "I hate Bree" and she needs thick skin. Anyone getting in the industry needs to know how to handle hate, vileness and criticism.

That was a time when there was no social media yet everyone knew about the fight. Uss time me he was the only one who fought with Ekta yet survived on TV. Left Right Left, Sach Ka Saamna. A lotta TV people worked with him. AND SHE WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT.

But I still cant believe ki 1 bande ki saari films shelve ho jaye after a sparkling debut. And he is just sitting home for 2-3 years. There were murmurs tab bhi but we didnt have social media to get inside info in those days. Orkut tha shayad tab, then later FB.

Rajeev debuted in 2008 in Bollywood. Ekta has enough contacts.

I am just saying its suspicious that 90% of his films got shelved. As I said, I have no proof that Ekta did it but there is something fishy that happens in Bollywood.

But if Ekta wanted she could. She is friends with KJo and clan. Rajeev is a nobody compared to her.

Anyway, I just expressed it coz it reminded me of Rajeev's case. M not trying to seek sympathy for him, I will not get anything out of his career taking off. Waise bhi ab bahut der ho chuki hai for him to get anything out of Bollywood.

Ab his film career didnt take off toh ho gaya na kaam. Rajeev always said he left KTH coz of the script. Ekta made it personal. He did Haq Se coz of Ken Ghosh and Cold Lassi for Pradip. Kya karega? Ghar pe baitha rahega? He has to work. Maybe 16 years later they both decided to let bygones be bygones. Balaji approached and Rajeev just gave in.

Also, can you imagine the ego high Ekta must've got out of this. He left Balaji and ultimately had to return to Balaji only. He refused her show coz he didn't want his character to play a rapist. She cast him in Haq Se with the same girl (Surveen Chawla).

Anyhow, I think I got carried away. We can discuss this on DMs. This topic is about Sushant. I should not make it about Rajeev.
