Can't resist the charm of this movie!

I completed my Masters in 2009 and was unsure about what to do next. I was pretty much in the same position as Sid-- lazy, just wanting to enjoy life, demotivated, just living life from one day to the next, from one party to the other. When I watched this movie at that time, it struck an instant chord. I loved it so much I watched it in the theatre thrice😆

It's been 11 years, and I've come a long way since then, but this movie still remains my favourite. I can watch it on Netflix and get charmed by Sid and his coming-of-age story...the movie is so addictive. It's seriously representative of our generation!

One of Ranbir's best performances...I loved how he effortlessly transformed into someone who is very unlike him I am guessing in real life ( he always seems so passionate and motivated about his career). How many of you feel this movie is a cult movie?

Also, Ranbir and Koko's chemistry is one of the highlights...they look made for each other!

Love love love this one.To me Ranbir never looked so good with anyone else.With Konkana there was such real n natural n effortless chemistry.For a very long time I prayed for them to get married.One of my favourite movies.❤️

Loved the songs.Wake Up Sid,Tere lie Nayi hai zameen naya asamaan were fantastic n Ikatara was ❤️.

This movie is one of those rare movies that is PERFECTION from the start till the end.

The characters were so relatable. Loved the urban setting. The film was shot beautifully. The songs heightened the emotions the characters felt. Each character from Ranbir to Konkona, to Ranbir's mum.. everybody was charming.

My heart skips a beat each time, till today, whenever I see this scene from Iktara of Ranbir taking a pic of Konkona. There's just something so romantic and unfiltered in the way he looks at her here. Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen him look at another actress this way in any other movie.

I've always low-key shipped Ranbir/Konkona. Like I just feel that if they give each other a chance, things can work between them, and they can be very happy together.

Ranbir dated most of his co-stars, I wonder why nothing ever happened between the 2 of them..

Ranbir's had chemistry with all his actresses, but none ever came close to creating the kind of magic he had with Konkona IMO.

Is this the movie where the lead character comes of age by frying an egg in the climax?

I love koko. She is such a fantastic natural actress and so pretty.
