Don’t get the wrong. I’m all for feminism

But stuff like this

Why?

Why only highlight frontline “women” workers ? Lots of front line men are doing great work too. I find this highly offensive that even in this condition we are talking about gender

Because there are many many people out there who still think women should stay home and take care of the family.

And yes I said people and not just men, because there are literally scores of women out there who think likewise.

Think of this just as an awareness exercise. When Amitabh Bachchan used to come and say 'Do boond zindagi ke', you don't give a shit cause you don't need any polio vaccines. But that awareness was important to eradicate polio.

So, at the very least, you can simply ignore it. It isn't hurting any men in bad light. No need to go after this. And believe me when I say I have no love for the smug PC.

Well that has probably to do with the fact that it is a part of series which is talking about women who are fighting against Covid19?

I mean you are sounding exactly like those people who complain about the lesser screentime for women in movies which revolve around main male protagonist.

Why should men be covered in a series about women?

It makes no sense, you are acting as if they are saying or implying only women are fighting.

While I don't think we should be glorifying people as some sort of war/super heroes, because that makes them expendable and it sets an expectation for martyrdom.

That said, is Priyanka anywhere saying that the male healthcare workers are not heroes? Is she claiming that the female workers are bigger heroes than the male workers? I am not really sure what your issue is, apart from maybe being bored and disliking Priyanka.

Your points are valid but I don’t think anyone is thinking about that right now. I don’t think anyone is saying women shouldn’t be working in pandemic lol.... everyone is in crisis mode right now, I find this entire thing Priyanka is doing to he unnecessary

Men who are frontline workers deserve to be appreciated too

Then you appreciate them. She is highlighting a marginalized group whose contribution to the society goes unnoticed every single day. She is not saying she doesn't appreciate men. Nothing is wrong with that. Not everything has to include men at all times. They get enough attention.

Roles of women barely get highlighted during crisis or otherwise, Priyanka Chopra is just doing that. Nothing untoward in her post.

Bhai we men don’t know how to make mountain out of molehill. We don’t cry victim , we just get on with our work.
One rape and women start abusing entire manhood. They can’t see good in men. All these are armchair feminazi , at home they are docile and online they take it out on others.

Women don’t want equal responsibility, they only want equal rights . They are entitled and privileged .
