Dolly in Omkara is a feather in Bebo's cap!

Whilst everyone raves about Poo and Geet, I have always found her best performance to be Dolly in Omkara, such a terrific perf. it's sad people don't recognize it as her best. Even Kareena in Chameli and Dev are talked about more than the subtle, understated and beautiful portrayal of a young woman who is smitten by her love for Om. For once, Kareena doesn't overact but has underplayed beautifully. The innocence which is needed is brought out in such an exuberant yet nuanced way.

I think both Saif and Kareena have given their career-best performances in Omkara. Would love to see Kareena in more such roles.

Yea she was so restrained in Omkara and Dev and terrific in Chameli..Bebo is a once in a gen actor 👍🏼

Kareena was good in Omkara, but it was not a 'difficult' role. You could replace her with some other actress from that time and it wouldn't make much difference to the film.

While you cannot imagine Jab We Met without Kareena. The reason she is credited more for Jab We Met because it was a different, one-of-its-kind role that very few actresses could've pulled off.

Geet could've easily become the most obnoxious & idiotic character of all time, if Kareena hadn't played her part well.

What makes Geet special is that the audience laughs WITH her and not AT her while watching her antics.😆 And you feel bad for Geet in the 2nd half, not out of pity but out of CONCERN, as if she was your close friend.😔 Very few characters are written that way.

As far as Omkara is concerned, it is remembered mainly for the Beedi song, Langda Tyagi & Ajay-Konkana's acting. Kareena's character is way too low in the scale.
