I miss the old SRK and the good old times!

I miss the old SRK, who was numero uno and first in the pecking order.

Post Chak De India, Shahrukh Khan’s selection of movies, acting and everything else has taken a steep drop. Except for Chennai Express, I have hated every movie of his post Chak De India. His movies are failing at the box-office as well! He is nowhere in the league of Aamir, Salman , Akshay and even Ranveer now. His movies are no more looked forward to, they have no magic in them anymore.

I really miss the old times, when everyone would look forward to his movies for weeks. The hype, the hoopla...it was unmatched. As a kid growing up on his movies, it was another level of craze. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dil to Paagal Hai, even Mohabbatein...audiences cheering in halls for his entry.

Was watching Chennai Express for both him and Deepika, and loved the movie. It was so darn entertaining! And SRKand Deepika bot were beyond outstanding.

Do you guys think he can reinvent himself and regain his lost glory?

Plot aside - He did look exceptionally sexy sporting the beard in Dilwale though (☺️). Made the whole movie worth watching just to see him prancing around all serious, broody and beardy (HAHA).

I have not lost hope in him as an actor - but just been disheartened by his choice of movies. He needs to stop romancing with heroines that look too young for him and start working in more serious age-appropriate movies. He can still do mature romantic movies with actresses that MATCH him. Stop working with Katrina & Anushka - and do more movies with the likes of Rani, Kajol, Aish etc. SRK needs to use his strength and work with scripts that really focus on that. He has a great voice, good command of speech and very emotive eyes/expressions especially in sad scenes.

If he chooses wisely then I have no doubt that he will rise again just like Amitabh Bachan did. ALSO needs to stop clean shaving and have a permanent beard or stubble.

I also like his comic timing...in Chennai Express he nailed his role! He's seriously talented and needs to focus more on his strengths than weaknesses.

Though I miss watching SRK on screen.but First SRK has to take care of health. It’s clearly showing up on his face.

Missing him playing negative roles, hope he comes back with hardcore negative role

SRK has been like a headless chicken these past few years. Seeing AK and SK getting all that glory has made him desperate for success. I loved FAN and that was the last movie of his I truly loved. ZERO was crap and he is responsible for changing the script and adding all these unneeded elements to it.

SRK's old movies are my guilty pleasure.. Was just watching the good old KKHH and K3G over weekend.. that guy had charm alright. That Gazebo scene still makes me blush. I understand he gained fame through romantic roles and thats his strength, but he has to understand that he is too old for that stuff now. He has to reinvent himself, I'll still watch his movies if that happens.. I still dont understand his script sense.. He passed a movie like Vikram Vedha and chose Zero :\

He will do well in dark broody roles like Raees.. he has to let go off the commercial aspect.. just enjoy the craft for once and find a new niche in the process.

The days of his main lead role are long gone But I believe he is still a capable actor. He can still have a respectable career by following big b route and do supporting roles.
