Flashback Saturday: What happened to Preeti Jhanigiani?

Preeti was the best part about Mohabbatein after SRK for me. She looked dazzlingly pretty and acted the best out of all 3 newcomer girls. She was potential superstar material.

How come she faded away so quickly? This is always one of the biggest puzzles for me.

She did a couple films but nothing memorable. Then she got married in 2008, had 2 children in 2011 and 2016 respectively.

According to her instagram, she's enjoying life and is a Bandra mom (not saying it as a bad thing). Its good to see she's living life well.

That looks like a post pregnancy photo so of course her face looks different.

But she has the same features.

She was part of two blockbusters in the South (Telugu films), before and after Mohabbatein. She never looked like trying hard to get movies but kept on doing b-grade films. Jo aaya kiya, and then it's over.

I was so sure she’d be a huge star, such strong attractive features

But no. We had to settle for Kareena and Bipasha instead

Not driven like others plus didn't do anything exceptional in BW to grab attention. She was just a pretty face among a lot of other pretty faces.

She was set to be a star but had health issues after Mohabbatein and lost out on a lot of movies. Didn't really get a second chance after that.

Salman costars keep giving flop or flop.

While Srk costars give Be kiss good-bye.
